The bowl comprises a trough which is made of a plurality of sets of trough sections, attached together, in which the trough sections of a given set are the same and nest together side-by-side, permitting the rider surface of the bowl to be made from trough sections having a small number of different shapes. This reduces the number of molds that would otherwise be required to make the trough sections. The waterslide bowl may also have two or more separate troughs, nested together, whereby the bowl may be ridden in by multiple riders at the same time, each in his or her own trough.

Sensors along the attraction may also be configured to track the user and/or ride vehicle via determining vicinity of the user and/or ride vehicle at a known location. Various rewards and/or features may be enabled based upon successful manipulation and/or user position. The attraction may include one or more illuminating features. Statistics or other information may be determined, stored, and/or provided (e.g., using mobile applications and/or scoreboards) relating to user performance.

Exemplary embodiments include using exhaust valves in each chamber to control the performance of fans. Measuring the power consumed by the fans in real time allows determination of the amount of air to be evacuated from the pneumatic system (and thus an opening angle of the exhaust valves) so that the fans operate at maximum efficiency and with less instability. In an exemplary embodiment, a valve mounted on the fan inlet allows the incoming air flow to be controlled, thereby allow the motors to continue rotating at a given speed with little or no energy consumption when the valve is partially or fully closed.

摘要： A system and method for creating and controlling a wave profile in a wave pool by controlling the water height profile in each of the chambers of the wave pool. The wave pool includes a plurality of wave generating chambers, each comprising one or more intake valves and exhaust valves. The valves are capable of being controlled to selectively open and close to a valve angle of fully open, fully closed, or any angle between. Using a graphical user interface, a user creates a water height profile for each chamber that dictates the resulting wave generated and released into the pool. Multiple custom chamber profiles may be grouped to create a custom wave section. Multiple custom wave sections may be grouped to create a custom wave. The system and method provides for increased customization of the wave, as well as reduced turbulence and increased efficiency of the system.
