摘要： A single-disc refiner (1) has a stationary refining element (2) and an opposed rotatable refining element (12), each of which has a radially inner blade element (4, 14) providing an inner refining surface area and a radially outer blade element providing an outer refining surface area. The inner and outer refining surface areas of each refining element together provide a refining surface of the refining element, the refining surfaces defining a feed zone (29) followed by a treatment zone (30) with a transition point therebetween located at a radial distance of 70-90% from the center of the refiner or at a radial distance of 50-80% from the innermost edge (25, 27) of the refining element or at a radial distance of 20-50% from the inner edge (34) of the outer blade element (8, 18, 33) towards the outermost edge (26, 28, 35) of the refining element.

The edge guide (20) has upper and lower ends. Flow surfaces (22) extend in a substantially vertical direction parallel and next to each other. The edge guide has a lubrication feed (24), additional lubrication feeds (26) and a suction opening (27). The flow surfaces (22) are inclined toward each other forming a flow guide recess (25) which extends in a vertical direction such that the form of the flow surfaces (22) with the flow guide recess (25) is concave. A protrusion (21) extends within the recess in the direction of the flow guide recess (25).

摘要： The invention relates to an improved process to break down lignin macromolecules and liberating cellulose fibers in lignocellulosic material using delignifying reactants with a gaseous organic agent as a heating and reaction-accelerating media. Lignocellulosic material is first impregnated with reactant chemicals, e.g. commonly used agents such as sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfide. Subsequently, the energy required for the delignification reactions is provided through heating with a gaseous organic agent such as methanol or ethanol, condensing and releasing energy to the solid lignocellulosic material. The temperature during the heating step with a gaseous organic agent is higher than the temperature during the impregnation step.
