Such structures include conductors made of conductive rubber compositions, for example, having an uncured or cured electrical resistance at 23° C. less than about 10 KΩ when formed into a wire about 254 millimeters long and 2 millimeters in diameter.

摘要： An irregular wear detection system for a tire supporting a vehicle includes a sensor unit mounted on the tire. The sensor unit includes a footprint centerline length measurement sensor to measure a centerline length of a footprint of the tire. A processor is in electronic communication with the sensor unit and receives a plurality of measured centerline lengths over time. An analysis module is stored on the processor and receives the measured centerline lengths as inputs. The analysis module detects irregular wear of the tire from the measured footprint centerline lengths. An irregular wear determination is generated by the analysis module when the measured footprint centerline lengths remain the same or increase.

摘要： An integrated radio frequency identification tag and tire pressure monitoring system sensor includes a radio frequency identification tag. The radio frequency identification tag includes an integrated circuit, and a printed circuit board carries the integrated circuit. A tire pressure monitoring system sensor is mounted on the radio frequency identification tag. An antenna includes at least one coil antenna wire. The antenna wire is formed in a helical shape and is electrically connected to the integrated circuit. A first end of the antenna wire is mounted to the printed circuit board. A mechanical interlock between the first end of the antenna wire and the printed circuit board includes features that secure the first end of the antenna wire to the printed circuit board.

The tire assembly includes a spoke structure extending radially between the inner central rim and the outer flexible ring. 摘要： The present invention provides a route for synthesizing monofunctional thiuram compounds that is safe, environmentally friendly, and cost effective. This method specifically involves synthesizing a monofunctional thiuram by (1) reacting a tetraorganylthiuram disulfide with an organyl mercaptan to produce the monofunctional thiuram and a dithiocarbamate metal salt or a dithiocarbamate metalloid salt under basic conditions, (2) separating the monofunctional thiuram in an organic phase from the dithiocarbamate metal salt or the dithiocarbamate metalloid salt in an aqueous phase, and (3) recovering the monofunctional thiuram from the aqueous phase. The monofunctional thiuram compounds made in accordance with this invention are of particular value as accelerators for use in the vulcanization of rubber. The use of these monofunctional thiuram compounds as accelerators provides good cure rates and as well as good scorch safety.
