摘要： A cutting tip, a cutting tool and a gear edge cut-off device have greater ease-of-use than the conventional art. The cutting tip has a shaft portion supported linearly movably and forwardly biased in a linearly moving direction, an angular base portion provided at a front end of the shaft portion and having a pair of skirt faces and a ridge portion that extends obliquely with respect to the linearly moving direction, a groove depressed near the ridge portion of the skirt face, a blade edge on the cutting blade, positioned on a border line between the ridge portion and the groove, a rake face provided on the cutting blade and positioned further toward the groove side than the blade edge, and a flank face positioned further toward the ridge portion side than the blade edge and jutting out in the forward direction as it retracts from the blade edge.

摘要： A fly cutter cutting tool is disclosed by this invention. The fly cutter cutting tool has a mounting shaft and a cutting base in a T-arrangement to provide a counter-balance. The carbide insert is attached to the working end. The working end has a rake angle to aid in clearing chips from beneath the tool holder and aid in the cutting process. The working end also has a hood to create a downward angle to deflect machined chips to prevent fouling of the work piece during cutting. The mounting shaft is attached to the cutting base at a perpendicular or a substantially perpendicular angle.

The chamfering device has a chamfering cutter, a deburring cutter which has a diameter different from that of the chamfering cutter; a cutter swing block, a cutter longitudinal feed block, and a base block, which rotatably support the chamfering cutter and the deburring cutter and are capable of subjecting the chamfering cutter and the deburring cuter to position adjustment with respect to the workpiece. The longitudinal feed block can perform single-axis feeding with respect to the workpiece. The chamfering cutter and the deburring cutter are disposed so that the cutting change amount of the chamfering cutter and that of the deburring cutter will be approximately equal to each other throughout the diameter range of the workpiece to be processed.
