摘要： The method for storing an oxygen absorbing agent according to the present invention comprises: providing an oxygen absorbing agent comprising a metal, the metal having been obtained by subjecting an alloy comprising (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of iron, cobalt, nickel and copper and (B) aluminum to treatment with a basic aqueous solution to elute and remove at least a part of the aluminum (B), the oxygen absorbing agent having a specific surface area of at least 10 m2/g as measured by a BET method; and immersing the oxygen absorbing agent in an aqueous solution containing a chelating agent to store the oxygen absorbing agent.

摘要： An oxygen absorbing agent has excellent oxygen absorbing properties and can absorb oxygen in an atmosphere, even under a moisture-free or substantially moisture-free atmosphere. The oxygen absorbing agent includes an alloy obtained by subjecting an alloy (X) including (A) at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of manganese, iron, platinum, and copper group metals and (B) at least one metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, zinc, tin, lead, magnesium, and silicon, to treatment with an alkali aqueous solution to elute and remove at least a part of the component (B) in the alloy (X), wherein the alloy (Y) has an X-ray diffraction profile satisfying a diffraction peak relationship.

The hydrated polymer comprises a superabsorbent polymer. The water-soluble on source comprises a salt. The invention in another embodiment relates to a method for providing timed oxygen absorption using the article as above with rupturing of the canister to release the water carrying superabsorbent such that it will contact the oxygen scavenger and on source thereby leading to activating the oxygen scavenger.

摘要： In said procedure, following placement of the agricultural food product in a bag, the following stages are carried out: a) the CO2 and O2 are mixed, with the concentration of CO2 equal to or higher than 40% and the concentration of O2 equal to or lower than 5%; b) the bag is filled with the mixture resulting from stage (a) by teans of a scavenging operation or the creation of a vacuum inside the bag, setting up a pressure of 350 mbar inside the bag; c) the agricultural food product is exposed to the mixture of gases for a time that ranges between 4 and 26 days, the concentration of CO2 falling to 30% and the concentration of O2 rising to 9%; said procedure permitting the eradication of insects and/or mites at any stage of their development.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a modified atmosphere package comprises supplying a first package including a non-barrier portion substantially permeable to oxygen. A retail cut of raw meat is placed within the first package and the first package is sealed. A second package substantially impermeable to oxygen is supplied. The first package is covered with the second package without sealing the second package so as to create a pocket between the first and second packages. A mixture of gases is supplied into the pocket. The gas mixture comprises from about 0.01 to about 0.8 vol. % carbon monoxide and at least one other gas to form a low oxygen environment so as to form carboxymyoglobin on a surface of the raw meat. The oxygen is removed from the pocket so as to sufficiently reduce an oxygen level therein so as to inhibit or prevent the formation of metmyoglobin on the surface of the raw meat. The second package is sealed.

摘要： A thermoplastic resin composition containing an oxygen-absorbing agent, wherein a resin matrix of the thermoplastic resin composition is substantially non-compatible and is composed of a blend of thermoplastic resins or elastomers, and the non-compatible thermoplastic resins and elastomers are present as a non-uniformly distributed structure in the resin matrix. The packaging container or cap of this invention suppresses the lowering of flavor retention incident to the dissolving out of the oxygen absorbing agent or its oxidation product even after retorting sterization. The preservability of the contents and flavor retention can be achieved for a long period of time. According to a preferred embodiment, the oxygen absorbing speed can be increased. After storage for a long time, or after heat sterilization, a rugged state does not occur. There can be formed the oxygen-absorbing resin composition and the packaging container having excellent outer appearance.
