摘要： A fiber sliver guidance system is provided for textile machine drafting equipment wherein a fiber sliver is drafted by pairs of drafting rollers and conveyed by a pair of delivery rollers to a calendar device. The guidance system is disposed between the delivery rollers and the calendar device and includes a plurality of nozzle inserts which define a fiber sliver channel between the delivery rollers and the calendar device. The fiber sliver channel has an axis defined by two axial segments which can be angled relative to each other. At least one of the nozzle inserts can be articulated relative to the other nozzle inserts about a swivel axis. The articulatable nozzle swivels automatically from an operating position to a closed position upon a back-up of fiber fleece in the fiber sliver channel.

The first edge zone is situated in a region between the doffer and the stripping roll and the second edge zone is situated in a region between the stripping roll and the crushing rolls and is oriented towards the nip defined by the crushing rolls.

摘要： An apparatus for making a nonwoven web comprises a carding drum and a continuously movable, air-permeable collecting surface member, which is arranged to collect the fibers which have been discharged from the carding drum and are entrained by an entraining air stream, through a suction duct, which extends between the carding drum and the collecting surface member. Passages for supplying air to the suction duct are provided throughout a predetermined working width of the drum and disposed adjacent to the duct at leading and trailing boundaries thereof with respect to the direction of rotation of the carding drum. To improve the uniform separation of fibers from the carding drum, it is proposed to arrange worker roller to cooperate with the carding drum adjacent to the leading boundary of the duct, and an air supply passage for supplying a stream of air to be sucked through the throat of the gap between the carding drum and the worker roller is provided between the worker roller and the carding drum and terminates on that side of the worker roller which is remote from the suction duct.

摘要： This invention relates to a device for removing short fibers from a mass ofibers. A pair of perforated cylindrical bodies are opposed to each other with a predetermined spacing defined therebetween, and static electricity is applied across the perforated cylindrical bodies. A suction-wise removing device is installed in at least one of the perforated cylindrical bodies. The initial end of a transfer conveyor is located on the surface of one perforated cylindrical body adjacent the opposed region. Short fibers contained in the mass of fibers fed to the opposed region by a feeding device are drawn into the suction-wise removing devices through the through holes in the cylindrical bodies by the action of electrostatic force and suction air currents. The mass of fibers having the short fibers removed therefrom are oriented by electrostatic force and transferred by the conveyor while being maintained in this oriented state.

摘要： Fiber slivers must be condensed during the course of a spinning process or their mass must be determined. For this purpose there are employed so-called grooved pairs of rollers, that is to say, profiled rolls which define a sliver throughput groove which is limited or confined at both sides. The sliver is guided through a feed or delivery funnel up to the throughput groove. The danger thus exists that individual fibers can jam between the side surfaces or faces of the rollers which form the lateral boundaries of the groove. This danger is eliminated with the invention in that the fiber outlet opening of the feed funnel is located within the region of a wedge-shaped gap which is bounded by an overlapping zone of the side surfaces or faces of the rollers.
