    • A drill guide used in woodworking for preparing pocket joints includes a guide member with a cuboid body. The cuboid body has an inclined plane formed on a front end thereof and a cavity defined in the front end thereof. The cavity has two opposite ends respectively and slantingly extending to the inclined plane and the first datum plane. A guide sleeve is longitudinally and detachably mounted in the front end of the cuboid body and abuts the inclined plane. The guide sleeve extends into the cavity for guiding a drill bit into the cavity and drilling an inclined hole in the workpiece. The cuboid body has a second datum plane formed on a rear end thereof. An axis of the drill bit passes through a central plane of the workpiece on a rear distal edge when the second datum plane aligns with the rear distal edge.

    • The drilling of a hole through at least two structural components in alignment with a predrilled hole or marked location in one of the structural components is facilitated by a clamping mechanism that has a bail with two legs. One leg carries a first clamping section with a guide channel for a centering pin or a drill bit. When the centering pin has served its purpose it is removed from the guide channel which then guides the drill bit. The other leg carries a second clamping section opposite the first clamping section. The second clamping section has a pressure bushing drivable by a clamping drive for clamping the second structural component against the first structural component for drilling a hole through all structural components including through a predrilled hole or for simultaneously drilling all structural components at the marked location. The pressure bushing has a hollow free end forming a cavity.

    • A cabinet door knob pull measuring jig (1) comprising a frame having a baseboard (2) and a backboard (3) which are connected together to form an L-shape, a drilling plate (4) adjustably attached within a vertical slot (12) located in the backboard (3) and at least one sliding block (5) adjustably attached to a vertical slot (7) located in the drilling plate (4). At least one pilot hole (6) is located in the at least one sliding block (5). A second embodiment of the measuring jig (1) utilizes the same baseboard (2) and backboard (3). However, rather than using at least one sliding block (5), the drilling plate (4) itself has at least one pilot hole (6) located thereon. The use of the present invention will permit a person to quickly identify the location of a hole to be drilled on a cabinet door for a knob pull in an accurate and precise manner.

    • A square channel shaped template of ultra-thin rigid plastic, metal or other material has one or more mating configurations of pencil-point-size marking holes in the two opposing faces of the channel. Each configuration of marking holes matches a configuration of screw holes on a door fixture or door hardware to be mounted on a door. Each configuration of holes may be distinguished by a visible line through the marking holes of each configuration. The template straddles an edge of a door at a measured distance along the edge and fits on the edge with the door closed in a door frame for marking either one or both sides of the door with a mating configuration of marks on the door for drilling.
