摘要： An application programming interface (API) executed by a first processing unit combines audio data samples with error code values generated for those samples. The API then causes a data stream to be opened having sufficient bandwidth to accommodate combined samples made up of audio data samples and corresponding error code values. The combined samples are then transmitted to a decoder and validation unit within a second processing unit that receives the combined data, strips the error code values and validates the audio data based on the error code values. When the error code values indicate that the audio data has been compromised, the second processing unit terminates the output of sound derived from the audio data.

摘要： Systems and methods for implementing a Transport I/O system are described. Network encrypted content may be received by a device. The device may provide the network encrypted content to a secure processor, such as, for example, a smart card. The secure processor obtains a network control word that may be used to decrypt the network encrypted content. The secure processor may decrypt the network encrypted content to produce clear content. In embodiments, the secure processor may then use a local control word to generate locally encrypted content specific to the device. The device may then receive the locally encrypted content from the secure processor and proceed to decrypt the locally encrypted content using a shared local encryption key. The Transport I/O system ensures the protection of the network control word by maintaining the network control word on the secure processor.

摘要： A method for DTCP to HLS conversion is provided that starts with a standard DTCP Protected Content Packet (PCP) structure. The PCP payload data is chunked at defined chunk boundaries. Each chunk is then appended with a pad to be compatible with HLS. An HLS playlist is then provided using the PCP header with identification of the chunks and a keytag. The chunk is encrypted with a DTCP key calculated by the DTCP standard using: (a) copy control bits; (b) a nonce, and (c) an exchange key ID. Relevant PCP header fields are provided in the keytag for the HLS playlist, including the value of the copy control bits, the nonce and the exchange key ID, supporting the transaction that enables calculation of the DTCP content key to enable later decryption of the chunks.
