摘要： The present invention discloses a method for transmitting channel state information, a user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: determining to-be-reported channel state information CSI, where the to-be-reported CSI includes at least one CSI report, and each CSI report of the at least one CSI report corresponds to one downlink carrier; and sending the to-be-reported CSI to a base station through a physical uplink channel. The user equipment includes a determining module and a sending module. The base station includes a receiving module, a first determining module, and a second determining module. According to the method, the user equipment, and the base station in the embodiments of the present invention, channel state information from different downlink carriers can be transmitted on a same subframe, and a performance requirement of the reported channel state information can be ensured, and power utilization efficiency can be improved.

摘要： Various embodiments include methods for reporting quality metrics of a wireless communication device to a network that includes scheduling, on the wireless communication device, a tune-away from a first carrier of a first subscription to a second subscription. Quality metrics of the first carrier before the tune-away begins are calculated and stored as frozen quality metrics. During the tune-away, the wireless communication device sends the stored frozen quality metrics to the network. The stored frozen quality metrics may continue to be sent to the network as long as the duration of the tune-away is shorter than a time threshold. If the duration of the tune-away exceeds the time threshold, the wireless communication device may calculate and send actual quality metrics of the carrier to the network.

In various such embodiments, the apparatus includes an adaptation component operative by the processor circuit to adaptively switch across the plurality of multicast content streams for reception and processing based on characteristics identified in the description segment. The method comprises: at the same time when a data symbol is sent to a receiver by using a channel, receiving at least one reference signal by using the channel; and determining, at least according to the at least one reference signal, quality of the channel at a corresponding moment when the data symbol is sent to the receiver. The method and the apparatus in the embodiments of the present application can avoid delay and latency problems in estimation of channel quality because a reference signal and data are separately sent in different subframes, thereby improving the real-time performance and accuracy of determining channel quality; moreover, the granularity of determining channel quality is within a same subframe or even each symbol, and in this way, in a process of transmitting a piece of data, quality of a radio channel at different moments may be estimated, so that changes of the quality of the radio channel during an entire sending time can be determined more precisely.
