    • An apparatus and method to display content in a transparent vessel. The transparent vessel has a transparent vessel wall, transparent vessel floor, and transparent vessel mouth. Content having a content display surface is rolled up and inserted through the transparent vessel mouth, unrolled inside the transparent vessel, and held flat against a transparent vessel wall inside surface, optionally with the aid of a prod having a non-slip prod tip attached to a rigid prod shaft. Stabilization media such as glass beads or seashells is poured into the transparent vessel and serves to hold the content in a desired display position inside the transparent vessel.

    • Described in some aspects of the present invention are methods and systems that can be used to track occurrences and/or non-occurrences of medical-related events, for example, to record whether one or more medical-related events have occurred at a particular time or during a particular time interval. Any suitable number of events may be tracked using such methods and systems, and the types and varieties of events that can be tracked are diverse. Examples include but are not limited to vaccine or other drug administrations, physical therapies, tests, diagnoses and surgeries. In some preferred embodiments, these and/or other medical-related occurrences or events will be tracked using an article that can be worn about the body of a patient although a variety of non-wearable articles can be utilized as well.

    • A laser markable security laser transfer film includes a carrier web formed from a laser light-transmissive material and a taggant-containing film disposed on the carrier web. The taggant-containing film is formulated from an energy sensitive taggant capable of withstanding temperatures of at least about 1800° F. to about 2200° F. The taggant absorbs energy at a first predetermined wavelength and, in response, emits energy at a second predetermined wavelength that is different from the first wavelength. The taggant-containing film further includes a polymeric resin. The taggant-containing film is disposed on the object to be marked with the taggant-containing film adjacent the object, and laser light is directed through the film to fuse the taggant-containing film onto the object to form a taggant-containing marking on the object. When the taggant-containing marking is subjected to energy at the first predetermined wavelength, the taggant-containing marking on the object is excited and in response emits energy at the second predetermined wavelength.
