    • A latching fluid level switch which includes an elongated shaft member having a lower end and an opposite upper end with both ends containing a buoyant float member. The upper end is pivotally anchored to a tank wall and capable of having its lower end being moved between two distinct angular positions depending on the level of the liquid in said tank acting on said float member and having a first higher buoyancy angular position representing a high liquid level endpoint, and a second less buoyant angular position representing a lower liquid level endpoint. The float is maintained at each distinct angular position such that once triggered at one liquid level endpoint the float will maintain and hold that angular position until reversibly triggered at the other liquid level endpoint.

    • A level measuring device for measuring the level of a liquid in a container. The device has an elongated support which extends approximately horizontally into the container and is fastened at a fastening end 6 to a wall 3 of the container while its other resting end 3 rests under initial spring pressure against the bottom 2 of the container. On the support there is fastened a carrier 12 on which a mechanical-electrical transducer is disposed and on which there is pivotally mounted a lever 13 which bears a float 14 and acts on the transducer. The support is developed as an elastic spring in the region between its fastening end 6 and the carrier 12.

    • A water gauge in accordance with the invention includes a base and a spherical indicator ball. The base includes a container having a side wall, a bottom wall and a post. The spherical indicator ball has a yellow initial signal hemispherical wall and a red final signal hemispherical wall connected to an axle along a circumference. The axle is supported by the side wall of the container. The yellow initial signal hemispherical wall is heavier than the red final signal hemispherical wall. The spherical indicator ball has a channel in the middle of the red final signal hemispherical wall. Initially, the post is positioned into the channel so that the yellow initial signal hemispherical wall is up and visible. The water gauge is positioned on a lawn to be watered. When watering has added a sufficient amount of water to the container to float the ball above the top of the post, the ball is rotated by gravitational force to position the heavier hemispherical wall in the water. Thus, the water gauge is adapted to indicate when water droplets falling onto a lawn have reached a predetermined amount.

    • A level indicating device for liquid filled containers is provided having a floating sensing element which is operatively connected with a signal device, the sensing element having several, preferably three floats arranged on a single plane. The floats are supported on lever arms which are interconnected with each other at a central union.
