摘要： The present invention concerns methods for obtaining high-tenacity aramid yarn, wherein the yarn is made of a copolymer obtained from a mixture of monomers comprising 5-(6)-amino-2-(p-aminophenyl)benzimidazole, an aromatic para-diamine, and an aromatic para-diacid. The method comprises: a) spinning said copolymer from an inorganic acid solvent to produce the aramid yarn; b) washing the yarn with a basic aqueous solution for at least 5 seconds; and c) heating the yarn; wherein the yarn is heated in at least two process steps, comprising (i) in a first step the yarn is heated at a temperature of 200 to 360° C. at a tension of at least 0.2 cN/dtex, followed by (ii) a second step wherein the yarn is heated at a temperature of 370 to 500° C. at a tension of less than 1 cN/dtex.

More particularly, a method for applying multiple polymeric coatings onto fibrous substrates without regard to chemical or physical incompatibilities of the polymeric coating materials. A first polymeric material is applied onto at least one fibrous substrate, and a second polymeric material is applied onto a support. The fibrous substrate and support are joined, contacting the first polymeric material with the second polymeric material, followed by separating the support from the fibrous substrate, such that at least a portion of the second polymeric material remains on the first polymeric material on the fibrous substrate.

The fabric is an opal-finished fabric obtained with two or more kinds of fibers and formed with a fiber-decomposed part showing a transparent appearance by removing at least one kind of the fibers and a non-decomposed fiber part, in which for solving the problems, the fiber-decomposed part contains mainly nylon fibers, and the non-decomposed fiber part contains mainly colored polyester fibers and non-colored nylon fibers. The non-decomposed fiber part is preferably constituted by a layer containing mainly polyester fibers and a layer containing mainly nylon fibers. The stretchability thereof can be improved by using the fabric further containing polyurethane fibers or weaving the fiber-decomposed part with an atlas stitch structure or a two-needle stitch structure.

The fibers can be woven or knit to form a fabric or can be included in a nonwoven fabric that can be one or more layers of the composite structures. The layers including the high modulus polyolefin fibers can include other fibers, such as fiberglass. The composites can also include layers of other materials, for instance layers formed of polyaramids, fiberglass, or carbon fiber wovens or nonwovens. The composites can advantageously be utilized in low loss dielectric applications, such as in forming circuit board substrates, or in applications beneficially combining strength with low weight, such as automobile and boat materials.

The warp and weft yarns comprise of air-jet spun polyester fibers that wisk moisture away from an individual wearing the garment material and, therefore, provide a quick-drying, breathable garment material that simulates the absorbency characteristics of cotton yarns. The set of polyester warp yarns and the set of polyester weft yarns may be interlaced to form a ground fabric, where a set of polyester pile yarns may then be interlaced with the ground fabric so that the pile yarns extend outwardly (e.g., forming a plurality of loops) on the front side, back side, or both sides of the ground fabric.
