摘要： A liquid dispensing apparatus includes a tank that includes an opening configured to receive a liquid. The apparatus includes a dispense valve configured to dispense the liquid. The apparatus further includes a touchpad input device configured to receive an input from a user and a liquid dispensing controller configured to determine a dispense rate for dispensing the liquid based on the input received from the user. The apparatus, via the dispense valve, is configured to dispense the liquid at a first dispense rate for a first period of time when a level of the liquid in the tank falls below a first tank level to dispense a first amount of the liquid and to dispense the liquid at a second, different dispense rate for a second period of time when the level of the liquid falls below a second tank level to dispense the first amount of the liquid.

In the preferred embodiment of the invention there is provided a fluid portion dispenser comprising at least one fluid reservoir, one or more nozzles, each of which being fixed to a work surface and having a nozzle outlet configured to dispense fluid from and a pump unit, connecting each reservoir to a nozzle and configured to pump fluid from each reservoir to a nozzle wherein each nozzle includes an activation mechanism, adapted to identify the capacity of a vessel in association with a nozzle outlet and activate the pump unit to dispense a portion of fluid from the nozzle outlet according to the capacity of the vessel identified.

摘要： In one embodiment, a liquid dispenser includes a liquid reservoir, a load cell supporting at least a partial weight of the liquid reservoir, an electrically actuated valve coupled to a tube outlet exiting from a bottom of the liquid reservoir, and a processor. The processor is electrically connected to the load cell and operatively coupled to and controlling operation of the valve. Further, the processor is configured to determine a valve open time for dispensing a requested amount of liquid. The valve open time depends upon a preliminary time based on the requested amount and an output from the load cell, and an adjustment to the preliminary time based on a difference between a requested amount and a measured amount determined by the load cell for at least one previous dispense.

摘要： A refrigerator includes a dispenser having a dispenser well, a control for regulating a product dispensing operation, and a select fill sensor system for automatically initiating and terminating the dispensing operation. An optical sensing system includes a camera within the dispenser well in communication with a controller for sensing the fill rate of a container within the dispenser well. The dispensing rate of product is adjusted depending on the product fill rate of the container such that optimum fill rates are obtained without overflow or spilling events. In this manner, a hands-free dispenser is provided that can be utilized regardless of the shape or size of container utilized.
