摘要： A universal mobile video surveillance system for convenient mounting in a truck or other vehicle with a flat bed, can include a sled, leveling jacks, mounted externally via outriggers to the four corners of the sled, and a surveillance mast, which can further include a sensor unit, which for example can be a video recording unit, optionally also fitted with lighting and audio recording capability. The design, using leveling jacks with caster wheels, can allow one operator to move the surveillance system onto and off the bed of a truck. A method for transferring a mobile video surveillance system onto the bed of a truck can include lifting the leveling jacks, placing the bed of a truck under the sled, which is carrying the surveillance mast, and then lowering the leveling jacks and securing the sled to the truck, using tie-down components that attach to mounts in the truck bed.

The reflective element has an electrochromic medium disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate and has a transflective third-surface mirror reflector. A video display is disposed to the rear of the reflective element and emits light when actuated that passes through the transflective mirror reflector. The video display includes a thin film transistor video screen that is back lit by a plurality of white light emitting light emitting diodes that are operable by a control. The control includes DC to DC conversion circuitry that includes circuitry for converting an ignition voltage of the equipped vehicle to a lower voltage that is closer to the forward voltage applied across individual white light emitting light emitting diodes of the plurality of white light emitting light emitting diodes than the ignition voltage.

A display unit is configured in such a manner that a control board is disposed on the side of a rotary mechanism. With this configuration, the insertion and removal of an optical disc are facilitated, the thickness dimension is reduced while the depth dimension and the width dimension are kept small, and the shape of the entire apparatus is made flat to improve the design performance.

The pop-up monitor includes a body housing and a monitor frame which is installed to move in a vertical direction with respect to the body housing. The pop-up monitor includes a driving unit, a sensor, and a controller. The driving unit includes a motor, a rotational shaft, and a gear set which transfers a rotational motion of the motor to the rotational shaft. The sensor outputs a sensing signal for whether the rotational shaft rotates. The controller outputs a control signal for a rotational direction of the motor according to the sensing signal and state information regarding whether the motor rotates.
