摘要： A toy vehicle includes a supporting chassis having a plurality of rolling wheels secured thereto. The chassis supports an audio circuit, a battery and an audio transducer together with a pair of switch contacts configured to provide a growling sound when the switch contacts touch. The chassis further supports an articulated body having a cab portion and rear portion resembling a standard truck joined in a pivotal attachment. A shaft and cam mechanism is coupled to a movable arm in a cooperative arrangement in which pivotal motion of the movable arm closes the switch contacts activating the audio circuit and raising the cab and rear portion of the truck body to bear sets of hidden teeth at the front of the toy vehicle.

摘要： A toy truck simulates the dumping of granular material within a closed container which is pivotally mounted to the truck chassis and has a transparent upward facing wall to exhibit the movement of the granular material during the simulated dumping. Pivoting the container upward from its normally horizontal position causes the material to slide from a visible dumping chamber to a concealed receiving chamber, and by further pivoting of the container the material is returned to the dumping chamber for repetition of simulated dumping. A metal foil membrane may be positioned for striking by the granules to produce a sound accompanying the simulated dumping. A self-operating valve may be used to control flow of the material.

摘要： An improved dump mechanism for a toy truck includes a dump lever having an upper surface curving downward toward the lifting end of the dump lever to engage an undersurface of the dump body. The curved surface of the dump lever is shaped for pivoting the dump body in increments that increase successively relative to corresponding successively equal pivotal increments of the dump lever throughout at least the initial half of the motion of the dump body from a load position to a full-dump position. This makes the pivoting of the dump body with the dump lever relatively easy with approximately even torque on the dump lever throughout the dumping motion.
