摘要： Exemplary embodiments provide a prefabricated modular shower enclosure, including a base with a plurality of engagement feature along a peripheral surface of the base, a plurality of alignment supports, and a surround panel. In some embodiments, at least one alignment support is positionable in a preselected relationship relative to the engagement features of the base, and the alignment supports are configured to be independently made square relative to the base. Additional exemplary embodiments provide a prefabricated shower enclosure, including a base with a plurality of engagement feature along a peripheral surface of the base, and a plurality of surround panels that engage the base. The modular shower enclosure reduces installation time and complexity by using components that are fabricated and cut to size offsite prior to installation at a job site.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a drainage base tray for a shower, the method including the steps of: a) providing a foldable sheet of metallic material; b) cutting a one-piece blank from the foldable sheet of metallic material; c) folding the blank along at least one folding line in order to define at least one corresponding slope within the blank, the slope having an upper portion and a bottom portion defining a sloping gradient; and d) providing the blank with a draining hole adjacent to the at least one folding line and in proximity of the bottom portion of the slope, for allowing waste liquid to drain via the draining hole of the drainage base tray. Also described is a resulting shower drainage base tray, and a one-piece blank made of metallic foldable material and having portions for manufacturing the shower drainage base tray. The present system also concerns a shower drainage kit including a grill component positioned, shaped and sized for placement over the shower drainage tray.

摘要： A carrier body assembly for forming part or all of a shower floor includes a rigid carrier body having a bearing surface for sanitary surface material such as tile and a sealing membrane that overlies the top or bottom surface of the carrier body but is attached to only a portion of the top or bottom surface. The unattached portion of the membrane is folded away from the carrier body to enable trimming of the carrier body to fit without damaging the membrane. After installation of the carrier body the membrane overlies the adjacent shower structure to form a watertight, water-impermeable connection between the carrier body and the adjacent shower structure.

摘要： A combination for plumbing fixtures, particularly tiled floors with drains, is disclosed. An exemplary combination includes a substantially planar shower tray bonding disk on a flooring substrate and surrounded by a prefabricated polymer foam shower tray on the flooring substrate and at the circumference of the bonding disk. The disk includes an interior rim that defines a drain opening and a plurality of slotted openings for permitting mortar to penetrate the disk. The drain opening in the disk can thus be positioned at a drain cut out in the flooring substrate.
