摘要： An optic device turret for adjusting the optical element of the optic device with at least two knobs that are each movable between a first position wherein the knob is not rotatable and a second position wherein the knob can be rotated. The access to and rotation of both knobs can be accomplished without the use of tools. The rotation of each knob adjusts the optical element. A spiral cam mechanism is engaged with the turret to define a maximum and minimum adjustment of the optical element. A rotation indicator displays the amount a knob has been rotated.

The body defines a stop surface positioned for engagement by the turret stop element to limit rotation of the screw, such that the relative position at which the stop element is secured to the screw defines a zero position of the screw and the movable optical element. The stop element is held against the stop surface by an indexing portion while the relative position at which the stop element is secured to the screw to define the zero position is determined.
