The control unit registers pen movements across at least one base, stores a plurality of digital pen strokes in the memory as a function of said movements, and supplies a set of the digital pen strokes for processing. The digital pen strokes include a first type, which is processed as graphical information constituting the information to be recorded, and a second type, which is processed as instructions for the processing of digital pen strokes of the first type. The electronic pen may detect a current working session of the pen. The control unit indicates, for the processing of the set of digital pen strokes, the working session during which the respective digital pen strokes have been input.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method, a system and a computer-readable medium storing computer-executable components in connection with transfer of information data to a recipient. The invention is based on the idea that generation of random number data and the calculation of digital signatures are performed before information data is accessible to a digital pen. Since asymmetric encryption of data is a demanding operation for said digital pen to perform in terms of processing power, a lot of time can be saved if the generation of random number data and asymmetric encryption of said random number data is performed in advance, when the pen is in an idle, non-communicating mode, for example during battery loading of the pen or when the pen is lifted from the position-coded paper. This alleviates delay times when the pen is in its communicating mode.

摘要： An information processing system contains an arrangement for enabling printing on demand of position-coded bases. In the arrangement, a current graphical object is selected from a set of graphical objects prestored in the system, which each define graphic information and corresponds to a rule object which connects at least one processing measure to the graphic information. In the arrangement, the current graphical object is assigned position data from a position data bank. The assigned position data can then be applied, together with the graphic information, to a substrate for forming the position-coded base. The arrangement also provides allocation data in the system, which associates the assigned position data with the graphical object in such a manner that position data read from the base by means of a digital pen device can be processed in the system using the adequate rule object.
