    • The present invention provides a method for reducing failure of configuration update initiated by an evolved Node B (eNB) and the eNB thereof. The method includes: after the configuration is updated, the eNB compares Public Land Mobile telephone Network (PLMN) information of the local end with the PLMN information of a Mobility Management Entity (MME) stored in the local end (101); when the PLMN information of the local end is completely consistent with the PLMN information of the MME stored by the local end, the eNB sends a configuration update request to the MME (102); or, when they are partially consistent, the eNB sends a configuration update request to the MME and alarms (103); or, when the PLMN information of the local end is completely inconsistent with the PLMN information of the MME stored in the local end, the eNB alarms (104).

The AV data recording area has TS, having a plurality of TSPBs and TSSBs are arranged in an interleaved manner, recorded thereon. TSPBs constitute a video stream representing monoscopic video. TSSBs constitute a video stream representing parallax video corresponding to the monoscopic video. The navigation information area has navigation information recorded therein. The navigation information has base location information and enhanced location information that is used only for stereoscopic video playback. The base location information indicates an area in which TSPBs are recorded. The enhanced location information indicates an area in which TSSBs are recorded.

    • A computer-implemented method and apparatus is provided for processing a spoken request from a user. A speech recognizer converts the spoken request into a digital format. A frame data structure associates semantic components of the digitized spoken request with predetermined slots. The slots are indicative of data which are used to achieve a predetermined goal. A speech understanding module which is connected to the speech recognizer and to the frame data structure determines semantic components of the spoken request. The slots are populated based upon the determined semantic components. A dialog manager which is connected to the speech understanding module may determine at least one slot which is unpopulated based upon the determined semantic components and in a preferred embodiment may provide confirmation of the populated slots. A computer generated-request is formulated in order for the user to provide data related to the unpopulated slot. The method and apparatus are well-suited (but not limited) to use in a hand-held speech translation device.

    • Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a measurement reporting method and device in a CA system. The method includes: UE receives the message from the network side; according to the message, the said UE judges the component carriers and/or measurement object whether meet the condition of triggering measurement reporting or not; when result is true, UE reports measurement information of at least one component carrier and/or measurement information of at least one measurement object to the network side by measurement report message. In the invention, the UE can report the measurement information of multiple carriers and/or frequencies together, therefore, it simplifies the reporting process, reduces the system time delay, and makes the network side easier to perform carrier management for LTE-A UE.

    • A comparator used in a clock signal generation circuit compares two input signals and generates an output signal. The comparator has first and second input transistors coupled to the input signals. First and second hysteresis transistors are coupled between the input transistors and an output stage of the comparator, and apply hysteresis to a comparison of the input signals. First and second hysteresis control transistors are coupled between the input transistors and the hysteresis transistors to isolate the hysteresis transistors from the input transistors under control of a hysteresis enable signal. The comparator is operable in a first mode or a second mode based on a hysteresis enable signal. In the first mode the comparator applies hysteresis to the comparison of the input signals and in the second mode, compares the input signals without hysteresis.
