    • A combustion type power tool providing enhanced workability and improved material yieldability. A combustion chamber frame is slidably movably disposed in a housing. A push lever is slidably movably supported to a nose extending from a lower end portion of the housing, and is abuttable on a workpiece. The combustion chamber frame and the push lever are associated with each other by a connection unit including arm sections and a connector section. A compression coil spring for biasing the push lever downwardly is interposed between the connector section and a cylinder disposed in the housing. The housing covers the entire arm sections, the connector section and the spring, so that these components are not directly accessible from an outside.

    • A combustion-type power tool includes a cylinder, a piston, a head, a combustion chamber frame, an ignition unit, a trigger, a control member. The combustion chamber frame is abuttable on the head to provide a combustion chamber in cooperation with the head and the piston. The trigger is operated by a user for driving the fastener into a workpiece. The control member detects that the combustion chamber has been provided and the trigger has been operated, and allows the ignition unit to ignite the combustible gas only when the control member detects that both the combustion chamber has been provided and the trigger has been operated.

A sealing arrangement is provided at a boundary between an outer peripheral section of a chamber head and an inner peripheral portion of an upper portion of the combustion chamber frame. Another sealing arrangement is provided at a boundary between an inner peripheral portion of a lower portion of the combustion chamber frame and an outer peripheral portion of an upper portion of a cylinder. Annular grooves are formed in the outer peripheral section of the chamber head and the outer peripheral portion of the cylinder. Each sealing arrangement is assembled in the annular groove, and includes an endless O-ring and a back-up ring disposed at an inner peripheral side of the O-ring for urging the O-ring radially outwardly.

    • According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a nailing machine including: a housing; an ejection section in the housing; an activation lever provided in the ejection section to be movable inside a traveling course; a magazine holding nails; a feeder urging the nails to feed the nails; and an engagement member engaged with the feeder so that, when an amount of remaining nails becomes to a predetermined number, the engagement member is moved toward a first direction to protrude into the traveling course; wherein one of the activation lever and the engagement member includes a slope portion so that the engagement member is further moved toward the first direction through the sliding contact therebetween.

The driving tool includes a lower pusher which is arranged at a distal end in a projecting direction of a nose through which the nail passes, formed with an elongated hole, and adapted to come into contact with a wood, an upper pusher which is urged by the lower pusher, and an extending-contracting mechanism interposed between the lower pusher and the upper pusher. The extending-contracting mechanism includes a bush which is in contact with the upper pusher and formed with a threaded hole, and a screwing part which can be screwed into the threaded hole after passing through the elongated hole. The screwing part includes a bolt which connects the lower pusher and the bush, and a lever.
