摘要： An automotive climate control system is disclosed. As long as an ignition switch is off, a bypass (14) is closed (in this state, a ratio between warm air and cool air is a maximum when the automotive climate control system is activated.), the blowout is set to defrost mode and the introduced air is set to external air mode regardless of the preceding modes of blowout and introduced air (when the ignition switch is on). As a result, the refrigerant leaking from an evaporator (12) flows to an external air inlet (23) smaller in air resistance. Even in the case where the ignition switch is off, therefore, the leaking refrigerant is prevented from flowing into the cabin.

摘要： The evaporator and the condenser are disposed in a duct. First bypass passage is disposed at the side of the condenser and first air mixing damper rotates to control air bypassing amount. Further second bypass passage is formed at the side of the evaporator and second mixing damper rotates to control air bypassing amount. Cooling rate at the evaporator and heating rate at the condenser are varied so that air adjusted in proper temperature is generated and discharged from each outlets into a room. An outside heat exchanger is disposed the outside of the duct. Refrigerant flow is randomly switched among the outside heat exchanger, the evaporator and the condenser so that cooling, heating, dehumidifying, dehumidified-heating and defrosting operations are performed.

The air-fuel ratio control system includes an air conditioner condition determining unit which determines drive torque of an air conditioner compressor as a parameter indicative of a variation in engine load and modifies an air-fuel ratio to the rich side according to an increase in drive torque of the air conditioner compressor.

The air-conditioning apparatus includes an engine-driven compressor and engine-driven pump for a heating unit. The air-conditioning apparatus includes a motor-driven compressor and pump. A control unit drives the motor such that the motor-driven compressor is operated when there is a need for cooling and the motor-driven pump is operated when there is a need for heating when the engine is stopped. Battery power is conserved through various methods.
