摘要： A diagnostic apparatus for an internal combustion engine. An exhaust purification section includes an exhaust purifier disposed in an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine, for purifying an exhaust emission, and a purifier activation section configured to control engine operating parameters of the internal combustion engine to promote activation of the exhaust purifier during the internal combustion engine being cold. The diagnostic apparatus is configured to determine a state of the exhaust purifier, to determine a total purifier out emission quantity as a quantity of the exhaust emission exiting the exhaust purifier during the internal combustion engine being cold, in accordance with the state of the exhaust purifier, and to determine normality of the exhaust purification section in accordance with the total purifier out emission quantity.

摘要： A spark ignition internal combustion engine (2) performs ignition within a fixed ignition crank angle range. The operation control device comprises a programmable controller (1) and a unit crank angle sensor (9) outputting a unit crank angle signal on each unit crank angle. The controller (1) calculates the engine rotation speed based on the unit crank angle signals (S1). By preventing the calculation of the engine rotation speed based on the unit crank angle signals detected in the ignition crank angle range, errors in the calculation of the engine rotation speed resulting from engine ignition noise are eliminated and a precise engine rotation speed is obtained.

摘要： A fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine is provided with a controller functions to command the fuel injectors for a cylinder in the exhaust stroke and for a cylinder in the intake stroke to simultaneously perform a primary fuel injection, when the first cylinder-stroke identification is performed, if the engine temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature. The controller further functions to command the fuel injector only for a cylinder in the intake stroke to perform a primary fuel injection, when the first cylinder-stroke identification is performed, if the engine temperature is less than the predetermined temperature. Thus the startup time of the engine is shortened and the stability of startup is ensured at normal, low, or extremely low temperatures.

摘要： An automatically loading recording and/or reproducing apparatus comprises a mechanism which operates at the time of loading. The mechanism draws a tape from a tape cassette and loads it along a specific tape traveling path. At the time of unloading, the mechanism pulls the tape back into the tape cassette. A mechanism locks a fast-forward or rewinding manipulation mechanism so that a driving mechanism cannot be operated when the manipulation mechanism is operated and locked. The locking mechanism activates the apparatus in a tape fast-forward or rewinding operation upon completion of the unloading operation.
