摘要： A battery is disclosed that includes two contact areas, an electrolyte, and an electronically conductive material that, at a neutralization trip point temperature, increases electronic conductivity internal to the battery between the first contact area and the second contact area. In one embodiment, the electronically conductive material is void from being activated external to the battery. In another embodiment, the battery includes a semiconductor material that includes custom doping to provide the increased electron conductivity at the neutralization trip point temperature. In yet another embodiment, the battery includes an insulator for separating the electronically conductive material until a temperature internal to the battery reaches the neutralization trip point temperature, at which point permits the electronically conductive material to increase the electronic conductivity between the first contact area and the second contact area.

摘要： The provision of a mode in silver zinc batteries where a user can access extra capacity as an emergency reserve for times when extra capacity is needed. While this temporarily increases capacity, it does not detrimentally affect cycle life over the longer term, and it permits a silver zinc battery to essentially mimic the long term capacity and cycle life characteristics of a lithium ion battery while still affording inherent advantages associated with silver zinc batteries. In a variant embodiment, this ability to temporarily increase capacity is optimally employed at the end of a battery life cycle in a controlled “roll-off” that accords additional cycles of battery service life. In another variant embodiment, the general capability to control capacity is employed to gradually decrease the available capacity of a battery over the life of the battery, to thereby extend the battery service life.

The method includes: capturing speech as at least one audio stream by at least one capturing device; producing a plurality of text streams from the at least one audio stream by at least one recognition device; and determining a best recognized text stream from the plurality of text streams. The present invention allows multiple computing devices connecting to a network, such as a Small Area Network (SAN), to collaborate on a speech recognition task. The devices are able to share or exchange audio data and determine the best quality audio. The devices are also able to share text results from the speech recognition task and the best result from the speech recognition task. This increases the efficiency of the speech recognition process and the quality of the final text stream.
