摘要： Logic may define one or more wake-up preambles suitable for high data rates for a wake-up radio (WUR) packet. Logic may define wake-up preamble with different counts of symbols. Logic may generate a wake-up preamble as an on-off keying (OOK) signal. Logic may generate and receive a wake-up preamble that signals a high data transmission rate with respect to data rates defined for WUR packet transmissions. Logic may generate or receive a preamble that signals a rate of transmission of the WUR packet as 250 kilobits per second. Logic may transmit or receive bits of the wake-up preamble as two microsecond orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) based pulses, wherein each two microsecond OFDM based pulse is based on a 32-point Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) in a 20 Megahertz (MHz) bandwidth, with a subcarrier spacing of 625 Kilohertz (KHz) to produce six subcarriers in a four MHz bandwidth.

摘要： Methods, devices, and systems for retransmission of wake-up signals from a first station to a second station over a wireless network are disclosed. In some aspects, a wake-up signal is encoded for transmission to the second station. While the first station is waiting for an acknowledgment of the wake-up signal from the second station, the second station may retransmit the wake up signal and/or encode a packet for transmission to a third station. In some aspects, whether the wake-up signal is retransmitted is based in part, on at least one of whether a number of timeout events for wake-up signals transmitted to the second station exceeds a maximum timeouts threshold, whether a number of wake-up signals transmitted to the second station exceeds a maximum wake-up signals threshold; or whether a maximum predetermined elapsed time since a first wake-up signal was transmitted to the second station is exceeded.

摘要： Embodiments may implement a new hierarchical data structure for traffic indication mapping to facilitate transmissions for wireless communications devices. Many embodiments comprise MAC sublayer logic to generate and transmit management frames such as beacon frames with a partial virtual bitmap based upon the hierarchical data structure for traffic indication mapping. In some embodiments, the MAC sublayer logic may store the traffic indication map and/or the traffic indication map structure in memory, in logic, or in another manner that facilitates transmission of the frames. Some embodiments may receive, detect, and decode communications with frames comprising the partial virtual bitmap based upon the hierarchical data structure. In some embodiments, indications of buffered data for pages, super-blocks, blocks, sub-blocks, and/or stations may be inverted. In several embodiments, a new association identifier (AID) structure is defined for the new hierarchical data structure for traffic indication mapping.

摘要： Disclosed in some examples are devices (e.g., APs, STAs, and the like), methods, and machine readable mediums which provide for proper channel estimation and frame reception in Uplink MU-MIMO systems by changing the way transmission parameters from the VHT-SIG-A are communicated to the recipients in the preamble. The transmission parameters contained in the VHT-SIG-A field may be communicated to the STAs in advance of the MU-MIMO transmissions. In other examples the transmission parameters contained in the VHT-SIG-A field may be moved to locations in the preamble that come after the VHT-STF and VHT-LTF so that the transmission parameters may be decoded.

The processing circuitry configured to split a data bitstream between an antenna bitstream and a symbol bitstream, encode the data bitstream into a plurality of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols from a signal constellation, encode the antenna bitstream into a plurality of antenna indices from a space constellation, map symbols of the plurality of symbols to a plurality of subcarriers of a channel and associate the symbols with an index of the plurality of indices. The processing circuitry may be configured to configure the access point for transmission of the symbols on the channel in accordance with an associated one of the antenna indices.

The channel resources may include multiple channels, each of which may include multiple sub-channels and an extra portion of channel resources. The resource allocation message may include multiple sub-channel allocation blocks to indicate an allocation for a particular HEW station. A length of the sub-channel allocation blocks may be based on various factors, such as a number of channels included in the channel resources and a sub-carrier bandwidth.

In some embodiments, the wireless device may be configured to map data to active tones and map zeroes to nulled tones of a set of OFDM tones to generate an OFDM symbol comprising both the active and the nulled tones. The number of active and nulled tones may be based on a nulling factor. The OFDM symbol may be down-clocked to generate an OFDM transmission symbol for transmission over a reduced transmission bandwidth. Accordingly, low power may be used for very low data rate transmissions, which may be suitable for sensor devices.

摘要： Embodiments of a wireless communication device and method for multi-MCS OFDM transmissions at different transmission power levels are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the wireless communication device may have a multi-MCS OFDM transmitter that is configured to encode data for transmission over two or more RF channels with a single encoding scheme to generate an encoded data stream. The transmitter may segment bits of the encoded data stream into a bit stream for each of the RF channels based on a selected modulation level for each of the two or more RF channels. A separate time-domain multicarrier waveform may be concurrently transmitted on each of the two or more RF channels at a power level that is selected not to exceed a maximum allowable transmit power level for that RF channel. The modulation level for each RF channel may be selected based at least in part on the maximum allowable transmit power level for that RF channel.

摘要： The disclosure generally relates to a shortened training field preamble structure for high-efficiency Wi-Fi environments. In one embodiment, the disclosure relates to a communication system having a transmitter transmitting a Master-Sync packet received by stationary and mobile receivers. The Master-Sync packet contains information for communicating in a HEW environment. Upon receipt each receiver decodes the Master-Sync packet to (i) estimate a frequency offset and/or an automatic gain control (AGC) setting; (ii) select a transmission frequency consistent with the frequency offset; and/or (iii) determine a new transmission power consistent with the AGC; (iv) tune to a new frequency offset and gain control setting to receive subsequent packets from the transmitter.
