    • In a switch circuit, there are provided a signal input stage comprising an array of switches paired with pilot lamps; a storage circuit comprising I.sup.2 L elements for storing a signal derived from the signal input stage; a circuit for causing that one of the pilot lamps be lit which is associated with a predetermined one of the switches; electronic switches for controlling a signal source in response to the signal derived from the signal input stage; an auxiliary current source circuit for holding the memory at the storage circuit when the main power supply is interrupted; and a circuit adapted, when the capacity of the auxiliary current source circuit is decreased and when the main power is supplied, to turn on a predetermined one of the switches while turning off the remaining ones of the switches, thereby setting the storage circuit to a predetermined initial condition.

    • In a multiple pushbutton switch assembly, a flexible restoring tape has both ends affixed to the casing at both ends with a predetermined slack in such a manner that it is tensioned by depressing any one of the sliders which, when depressed, are locked alternately at a switch-on position and a switch-off position by elastic springs. The amount of the predetermined slack of the restoring tape corresponds to the amount of depression of each slider, so that when one slider is depressed, another one which has been depressed is restored or returned to its initial position, and only one slider is allowed to be depressed at any one time.

    • A normally closed solenoid valve (100) includes a housing (10), and a valve element (21), a movable core (22), a first spring (23), a second spring (24), a coil (25), a stator core (26), and other components, which are assembled to the housing (10). The valve element (21) is arranged so as to be seatable on and unseatable from a valve seat (12c). The movable core (22) is assembled to a cylinder section (11b) of the housing (10) so as to be movable integrally with the valve element (21) in an axial direction of the movable core (22). The first spring (23) is configured to bias the valve element (21) and the movable core (22) toward the valve seat (12c). The coil (25) and the stator core (26) are configured to generate an electromagnetic force resistive to a load of the first spring (23) for the movable core (22) through energization of the coil (25). The second spring (24) is configured to apply a load smaller than and resistive to the load of the first spring (23) to the valve element (21) and the movable core (22). The normally closed solenoid valve (100) further includes a load adjusting mechanism capable of adjusting the load of the first spring (23), and a stroke adjusting mechanism capable of adjusting an unseating stroke of the valve element (21) from the valve seat (12c).
