    • A write retry processing unit repeats a write retry operation of a write and a verify, while performing a setting change of a focus offset for recording a data on an optical storage medium in case a verify error occurs in executing the write and a verify try fails. A learning processing unit retains a sum total of the number of adding times of the successful focus offset and the number of subtracting times of the successful retry offset as a learning result at the successful time of the write retry, and a write condition changing unit changes the focus offset setting value of the default so as to be drawn near to the latest focus offset which succeeds in the retry when the absolute value of the learning result retained in the learning processing unit is equal to or more than a threshold value.

    • An inkjet recording head includes a base member, an ink channel unit, a plurality of piezoelectric elements, and a dynamic vibration absorber. The ink channel unit is formed with a plurality of nozzle holes and a plurality of ink pressure chambers. The ink channel unit includes a diaphragm that defines part of each ink pressure chamber. Each piezoelectric element has one end fixed to the base member and another end attached to the diaphragm. Each piezoelectric element generates displacement in a displacement direction for deforming the diaphragm to eject ink droplets through a corresponding one of the plurality of nozzle holes. The dynamic vibration absorber is mounted on the base member for damping vibrations of the base member due to a resonance, the resonance occurring in a frequency range less than or equal to a predetermined frequency.

    • An inkjet recording device includes a nozzle module, a switching unit, a waveform generating unit, an image recognizing unit and a pulse width modulating unit. The image recognizing unit determines an ejection condition of the ink droplet ejected from the nozzle while referring to ejection data indicating a type of each pixel to be recorded, and generates switch pulse width data that includes the ejection data and the ejection condition. The pulse width modulating unit generates the switch pulse based on the switch pulse width data. The switching unit opens and closes in response to a switch pulse. An opening duration of the switch unit is variable depending on the switch pulse.
