    • A data management application that may be implemented in a mobile device to perform two-way synchronization of electronic messages and/or PIM data with a server device. The device may be a mobile device such as a mobile phone or Smartphone, as well as a personal digital assistant, notebook computer, or other mobile device communicating using any of several wireless protocols. PIM data may include PIM application objects or other data, including but not limited to calendar, contact, and task object data. The data management application may synchronize e-mail and PIM data on a client device with that of a server where the server and client utilize one or more different protocols.

    • The invention provides methods of identifying herbicidal auxins. The invention further provides auxin-herbicide-resistant plants and genes conferring auxin-herbicide resistance. This invention also provides a method of identifying other proteins that bind picolinate auxins from additional plant species. The invention further provides a method to identify the molecular binding site for picolinate auxins. The invention also includes the use of the picolinate herbicidal auxin target site proteins, and methods of discovering new compounds with herbicidal or plant growth regulatory activity. The invention also includes methods for producing plants that are resistant to picolinate herbicidal auxins. Specific examples of novel proteins associated with herbicide binding include AFB5, AFB4, and SGT1b.

    • The invention relates to a blind rivet, related method of removal and a tool. The removable blind rivet has a rivet body that receives a mandrel. The rivet body has a flange with a line of weakness formed therein. The line of weakness is adapted to shear under an axial load, whereby the flange is severed, substantially as a single item, from the rivet body. The invention extends to a tool for removing the rivet, the tool having: a body and a punch surface, the punch surface adapted to apply an axial force to a region of the flange, whereby the flange is severed from the rivet body in the form of an annulus, leaving a hollow rivet body that may be removed from a workpiece. The advantage of the invention is that it enables the flange to be removed form the rivet body as a single item.
