    • There is provided a reaction apparatus which is capable of keeping the pressure inside the reactor and is applicable to various fields. This reaction apparatus comprises: a raw material tank (2) for storing a raw material; a high-pressure pump (3) communicated with the raw material tank (2) and designed to deliver the raw material therefrom; a reactor (1) which is disposed on the downstream side of the high-pressure pump (3) and designed to be supplied with the raw material in a compressed state; a heating bath (11) for heating the reactor (1) to promote a reaction; and a product tank (7) for receiving and recovering a product; wherein the reaction apparatus is further equipped with an inlet port which is interposed between the heating bath (11) and the product tank (7), and with an injection pump (6) for injecting an injecting liquid through the inlet port, whereby a pressure of product flowing into the product tank (7) is enabled to be reduced by making use of the flow rate of the injecting liquid.

    • In a heating device having a microwave generator for generating microwaves, a waveguide for propagating the microwaves, a matching element for adjusting the impedance inside the waveguide and a flow pipe for passing a substance to be heated, an outer pipe of low dielectric constant is arranged to circulate a heat transfer medium for heat exchange around the flow pipe adapted to pass the heated substance and a circulation constant temperature bath is provided for adjusting the temperature of the heat transfer medium for heat exchange and for circulating it, so that microwaves are irradiated while adjusting the temperature of the heat transfer medium for heat exchange to a desired value by means of the circulation constant bath and circulating the heat transfer medium around the flow pipe.

    • In a high-throughput cell assay apparatus, a cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus moves from a cell storage to a measuring portion, and then to a cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion. Thereafter, it is determined if the electrode chip after being used should be re-used, again, or not, by referring to a condition for exchanging the electrode chip. When not be re-used, again, the cell-and-electrode chip conveying apparatus shifts the electrode chip from the measuring portion to the cell-and-electrode chip disposal portion, thereby disposing the electrode chip. The conveying apparatus moves from an exchangeable electrode chip storage to the measuring portion, thereby position a new electrode chip onto the measuring portion.
