    • In a passenger conveyor, a supporting angle that is supported on a building beam is fixed to an end portion of a truss main body. A plurality of movement limiting members that come into contact with the supporting angle to limit horizontal movement of the supporting angle are disposed on the building beam. The supporting angle includes: a first supporting portion; and a pair of second supporting portions that are disposed on two sides of the first supporting portion in a width direction of the truss. A horizontal protruding dimension of the first supporting portion from the truss main body is different than horizontal protruding dimensions of the second supporting portions from the truss main body.

The passenger conveyor apparatus includes a plurality of footsteps to be moved in a circulating manner, a moving handrail to be moved in a circulating manner in synchronization with the movement of the plurality of footsteps, and a truss for supporting the plurality of footsteps and the moving handrail. A skirt guard is provided on a lateral side of the plurality of footsteps. At least one roller is provided to each of the plurality of footsteps. The roller is guided by a rail corresponding to the roller. The rail is fixed to a rail supporting plate supported on the truss. At least one of the skirt guard and the moving handrail is fixed to the rail supporting plate.

    • A liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes: a liquid crystal panel (1) capable of switching between a 2D display and a 3D display; a digital γ correction section (21) for changing a gamma characteristic of a video signal supplied to the liquid crystal panel (1); a backlight (2) for backlighting the liquid crystal panel (1), which backlight includes an LED serving as a light source; and a backlight driving section (13) for controlling driving of the backlight (2). When the 3D display is carried out on the liquid crystal panel (1), the backlight drive control section (13) controls the driving of the backlight such that luminance of the LED is higher than that for the 2D display, and the digital γ correction section (21) changes a gamma characteristic of a video signal such that (i) luminance on a low gray level side is lower than that for the 2D display and (ii) luminance on a high gray level side is higher than that for the 2D display. This makes it possible to increase luminance perceived by a user without increasing the number of LEDs.

    • A gradation change detection circuit determines whether a gradation value has been changed from a previous frame. In at least one example embodiment, a first frame memory stores, when the gradation value is changed, a gradation value before change. A hold count calculation circuit determines a hold count indicating the number of frames inputted after the change of the gradation value. A second frame memory stores the determined hold counts. An emphasis conversion circuit performs a process of emphasizing a change in gradation value on a video signal, and makes a degree of emphasis smaller with a larger hold count. A liquid crystal panel is driven based on a video signal obtained by an overdrive circuit. By this, double optical responsivity occurring due to overdrive drive is prevented.
