    • A system and method for automatically controlling a vehicle speed to a desired vehicle speed in which, when a set switch is operated, a vehicle speed V.sub.1 at the time of the predetermined set storage unit of microcomputer and a limit vehicle speed switch operation is stored in a vehicle speed V.sub.alpha is set which is lower than the stored vehicle speed by a predetermined value alpha (V.sub.alpha =V.sub.1 -alpha, alpha>0).     • An apparatus for accommodating an electrical cord in a heated toilet seat having a toilet seat body and a base cover pivotally connected to each other, wherein an electrical cord adapted for electrical connection between a heater mounted within the toilet seat body and a controller therefore is secured at one by a grommet provided on the base cover and at the other end by a cord fastener in the toilet seat body.     • Either a single copy or a plurality of copies of an original document may be made. Making a single copy or the last copy of a plurality of copies comprises, during a first revolution of a photoconductive drum, electrostatically charging the drum, radiating a light image of the document onto the drum to form an electrostatic image, developing the electrostatic image using a magnetic brush to form a toner image, transferring the toner image to a copy sheet, electrostatically discharging the drum and uniformly radiating the drum with light to further discharge the same. During a second revolution of the drum the drum is cleaned with the same magnetic brush to remove residual toner, and again electrostatically discharged and uniformly radiated. During a third revolution of the drum the magnetic brush is again used for cleaning. For making all but the last of a plurality of copies, the drum is charged, imaged, transferred and electrostatically discharged during a first revolution thereof and cleaned with the magnetic bruch during a second revolution. Whether the process is used to make one or more copies, the same portion of the drum is always used. Subsequently, the drum rotation is indexed so that the next process will use a different portion of the drum.

    • The method detects a toner concentration in a developer comprising a mixture of magnetic carrier particles and a non-magnetic toner through the determination of a leakage magnetic flux with a Hall element having a high sensitivity. The mixture is first shaped into a predetermined configuration and brought into a fixed magnetic field where the leakage magnetic flux is sensed by the Hall element. The shaped mixture may be a magnetic brush per se in case of the well-known magnetic brush device used. Such a Hall element is very susceptible to a variation of environmental temperature and thus requires a compensation therefor upon the determination of magnetic field. In one aspect of the invention, the compensation may be conveniently achieved by detecting a voltage across the control current terminals of the Hall element and supplying the detected result into an input of analog calculator.
