    • A mobile communication terminal 10 has a navigation function to perform a route guidance from a present location to a destination by utilizing a network 100 and a GPS signal. A geomagnetism sensor 46, a direction detecting circuit 44 and a gyro sensor 48 detects a traveling direction of the mobile communication terminal 10 (user). The CPU 20 determines whether or not the traveling direction and a direction of the route designated by the navigation function are coincident with each other by the processing in a step S7. Then, if the traveling direction and the direction of the route designated by the navigation function are not coincident with each other, the LED 38 notifies what direction the user has to go by emitting light in any one of red, yellow and orange.

    • A distortion compensator for reducing a level of a distortion component included in an output analog signal of an amplifier, includes: an A/D converter to convert the output analog signal of the amplifier into a digital output signal; a comparator to generate a distortion characteristic of the amplifier based on a digital input signal and the digital output signal; a rate controller to control a sampling rate of the A/D converter based on the digital input signal and the digital output signal; a predistorter to multiply the digital input signal and a compensation value for compensating the amplifier, the compensation value being calculated based on the digital input signal and the distortion characteristic of the amplifier; and a D/A converter to convert multiplication result of the predistorter into an analog input signal to input the analog input signal to the amplifier.

    • A liquid crystal display panel 10A of the invention has gate electrodes G of TFTs, scan lines 16, and auxiliary capacitor electrodes 18a, which are coated with a first insulating film 27 composed of a thick insulating layer 25 and thinned insulating layer 26. On a second insulating film 28 provided between the pixel electrodes 20 and the drain electrodes D, contact holes 30 are formed at portions above the drain electrodes D on the first insulating film 27, which is not thinned, above the auxiliary capacitor electrodes 18a, and via the contact holes 30, the pixels 20 and the drain electrodes D are electrically coupled to each other. By providing such a constitution, a liquid crystal display device and its manufacturing method can be provided, with only a small number of bright point defects, and with an increased capacitance of the auxiliary capacitor electrodes without a reduction in the aperture ratio of each pixel.
