摘要： A heat transfer element for cross flow heat exchanger consists of ceramic corrugated and planar plates. A plurality of the heat transfer elements are stacked up in such a manner that the direction of corrugation in adjacent elements intersects at right angles to form a heat transfer block for cross flow heat exchanger. Concave portions of corrugation, which confront soot-blowing flow for removing soot deposited onto the heat transfer surfaces of heat transfer block, are filled with ceramic solids. Also concave portions of corrugation corresponding to the corners, which abut the packings attached when the heat transfer block is installed on a casing, are filled with ceramic solids.

The feed piston 8 is constantly spring-urged in the feed direction, and part of a combustion gas is supplied to a feed cylinder 7 via a gas pipe 21 provided between the combustion chamber 4 and the feed piston/cylinder mechanism 6, thereby operating the feed piston 8 in the retracting direction against a spring 20. In the gas combustion type driving tool, filters 33 for cooling a combustion gas are located in the gas pipe 21.

摘要： When a movable sleeve 11 on a cylinder moves upward, a combustion chamber 5 in a sealed state is formed. Mixed gas is explosively burnt within the combustion chamber 5 so as to drive a fastener out. A lock cylinder 22 is disposed beneath the movable sleeve 11. A lock piston 23 is housed within the lock cylinder 22 so as to be movable in an up/down direction. The upper end of the lock piston 23 is capable of being engaged with a holding member 12 which is interlocked with the movable sleeve 11. The lower portion of the lock cylinder is coupled to the combustion chamber via a gas tube 24. The gas tube 24 is provided with a check valve 25. The lock cylinder 22 is provided with an electromagnetic valve 27. The electromagnetic valve 27 opens upon the lapse of a predetermined time period after the combustion within the combustion chamber.
