    • An electrical connector (1) for soldering to a printed circuit board includes a housing (10) defining a number of channels (22) therethrough, a number of contacts (12) received in corresponding channels. At least two contacts share a same channel. Each contact includes an intermediate portion (124) pre-coated with a Sn—Pb plating which has a higher melting point than that of the soldering paste. The intermediate portions of corresponding contacts in the same channel are soldered with each other by heating the Sn—Pb plating and a wicking barrier (28) is formed on soldering area. The wicking barriers block the melted soldering paste from passing therethrough to thereby protect contact portions when soldering the contacts with the printed circuit board.

    • An electrical connector (1) comprises a dielectric frame (10) defining a receiving cavity (12), a plurality of printed circuit substrates (30), and a spacer (20) assembled with the printed circuit substrates. The spacer includes a plurality of wafers (21) and defines a plurality of tunnels (22) between every two adjacent wafers for receiving corresponding printed circuit substrates. Each wafer has a dielectric body (23), a plurality of terminals (25) for conductively contacting signal traces of the printed circuit substrate, and a grounding bus (24) covering on the dielectric body. Each grounding bus forms at least one resilient arm (28) conductively contacting with grounding traces on the printed circuit substrate before the signal terminals conductively contact the signal traces on the printed circuit substrate.

    • An electrical connector (1) includes a dielectric housing (2) having a mounting surface (202) and a number of passageways (22) extending through the mounting surface and a number of contacts (3, 3′) received in the passageways of the housing. Each passageway receives dual contacts therein. The dual contacts have mating portions (32) for engagement with a complementary connector (5) and angled tail portions (34, 34′) extending opposing to each other to form a recess (36) therebetween.
