    • A display device includes a display panel which forms a plurality of sub pixels on a substrate thereof, and a drive circuit which is configured to drive the plurality of sub pixels, wherein the drive circuit has a thin film transistor formed on the substrate, and the thin film transistor has a semiconductor layer made of poly-silicon. The thin film transistor includes: a source electrode, a semiconductor layer and a drain electrode which are formed on the substrate; a gate insulation film which is formed on the source electrode, the semiconductor layer and the drain electrode; a gate electrode which is formed on the gate insulation film and above the semiconductor layer; an insulation film which is formed on the gate electrode; and a metal layer which is formed on the insulation film in a state that the metal layer covers at least a portion of the gate electrode.

    • Disclosed is a technology that prevents a part of a touch panel-equipped display displaying an ultrasonic tomographic image from getting dirty with a fingerprint or scratch when using a drag operation to change the content of the ultrasonic tomographic image displayed on the touch panel-equipped display. According to this technology, the display screen is divided into an ultrasonic image area A1 which displays an ultrasonic image P and an operating part display area A2 which displays buttons (Fov, Pos, ROI, and Dop) for selecting a change to be made in the ultrasonic image P. The operating part display area A2 has a touch panel, and when a finger F selectively touches one of the displayed buttons and is dragged, the displayed image P of the ultrasonic image area A1 is changed on the apparatus side according to the selected changes and drag direction.

    • A multimedia processing system of the present invention comprises an application, a multimedia abstracting unit, and a multimedia processing module. The multimedia processing abstracting unit is comprised of: a logic module; a stream path for connecting each logic module; a stream pipe for transmitting/receiving data between each logic module and the application; and a correspondence managing unit which carries structural information of the logic module, the stream pipe, and the stream path for making correspondence between with the processing module. The correspondence managing unit updates the structural information every time each logic module is created and connected according to the command from the application and, thereafter, at the point where the stream pipe and stream path are connected, receives a LOCK command indicating confirmation of structure from the application. Thereby one corresponding processing module is confirmed and started.
