    • An AC-DC converter which allows an input current of an input AC power source to have harmonic currents of reduced levels and which supplies a stabilized output DC voltage to a load is realized by a simple circuit configuration. The converter has: a converter circuit consisting of a choke coil which receives a rectified voltage from a rectifying circuit, a switch element, and a diode; a smoothing capacitor which smooths the output voltage of the converter circuit and supplies the smoothed voltage to a load; and a control circuit consisting of a current detection circuit, a voltage detection circuit, and a pulse-width control circuit. In order to stabilize the output voltage, the switch element is turned on and off so that the peak value of the input current of the converter circuit is limited in a DC-like manner, thereby allowing the input current to have a trapezoidal waveform.

    • A switching power supply supplies a regulated output voltage for an electronic apparatus in industrial or commercial use and suppresses generation of a spike voltage and a spike current due to a transformer, and a recovery voltage of a rectifying diode due to switching and it results in reduction of noise interference and power loss. A series connection of a first switching means and a second switching means repeating on/off action alternately is connected to a d-c source. A series connection of a first capacitor and a primary winding of a transformer is connected in parallel with the second switching means. An induced voltage in a secondary winding is supplied to an output through a rectifying/filtering means. A series resonance current in a closed circuit comprising the first capacitor and a leakage inductance suppresses spike voltage, spike current, and recovery voltage of the rectifying diode.

Provided is a therapeutic agent for allergic rhinitis for 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) comprising 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) or a derivative thereof, or a salt of the 5-aminolevulinic acid or the derivative as an active ingredient, and used in ALA-PDT in which light having a wavelength of 400 nm to 700 nm is irradiated; and particularly provided is a therapeutic agent for allergic rhinitis in a locally applied solution form, a water-soluble ointment-dissolved form, a jelly-dissolved form, or the like. The therapeutic agent does not require the conduct of 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic diagnosis (ALA-PDD) for detecting a site of protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) accumulation radiating light having a wavelength of 610 nm to 650 nm under irradiation of excitation light having a wavelength of 380 nm to 420 nm before ALA-PDT.

    • A DC-DC converter transforms a DC input voltage to generate a DC output voltage by complementary switching control of a main switching transistor and a synchronous rectifying transistor. The DC-DC converter includes a soft-start circuit configured to generate a soft-start voltage rising from an initial voltage at start-up of the DC-DC converter; and a control circuit configured to control switching of the main switching transistor and the synchronous rectifying transistor based on the soft-start voltage to perform soft start of the DC-DC converter. The control circuit brings both of the main switching transistor and the synchronous rectifying transistor to an off state while the soft-start voltage is lower than the DC output voltage.

    • In order to provide a current driver circuit capable of achieving a stable operation without feeding a load current back, a current driver circuit of the present invention includes: a converter part (2a) having a switching element (21) and converting an input voltage (Vi) into an output voltage; a current detector (4) which generates a detection signal (Vfb) indicative of the current of the switching element; an input voltage compensating circuit (5) which generates a compensation signal (Vr) corresponding to the input voltage; a comparator (6) which compares the detection signal and the compensation signal against each other; and a switch driver circuit (7) which generates a drive signal (Vg). The drive signal (Vg) turns the switching element off in accordance with an output (Vc) of the comparator, and turns the switching element on again after a lapse of a prescribed time from the switching element being turned off.
