摘要： An inkjet head includes a flow passage unit having an ink flow passage formed therein, in which ink flows, and an actuator unit secured to the flow passage unit. The actuator unit is configured to apply a discharge energy to the ink within the ink flow passage. The inkjet head also includes a driver IC configured to supply a drive signal to the actuator unit, a plurality of plates extending from the flow passage unit, and a cover member secured to the plurality of plates. The cover member, the plurality of plates, and the flow passage unit define a closed space, and the driver IC is disposed within the closed space. Moreover, the driver IC opposes at least a portion of an inside surface of one of the plurality of plates and is thermally coupled to the one of the plurality of plates, and an outside surface of the one of the plurality plates has a heat radiation property which is greater than a heat radiation property of the inside surface of the one of plurality of plates.

摘要： An ink jet head is presented that decreases the density in wiring patterns to be connected to a large number of actuator terminals formed on a main body of the ink jet head while ensuring large spacing between the wirings. The ink jet head comprises a main body, a driver IC, and a sheet. The main body comprises a plurality of nozzles, a plurality of pressure chambers, a plurality of actuators, and a plurality of actuator terminals distributed on a surface of the main body. The driver IC can select any actuator terminal among the plurality of actuator terminals and transmit a driving voltage to the selected actuator terminal. The sheet mounts the driver IC at a first surface of the sheet and is fixed to the main body at a second surface. The sheet comprises a plurality of input terminals, a plurality of output terminals distributed on the second surface, a plurality of first wirings connecting the input terminals and the driver IC, and a plurality of second wirings connecting the driver IC and the output terminals. Output terminals of the sheet are connected to the actuator terminals of the main body. The second wiring penetrates the sheet.

Before scanning the photosensitive medium, the laser beam that has passed through and been converged by the first fθ lens, but not passed through the second fθ lens, is guided to a beam detector and converged by a cylinder lens in the sub-scanning direction so that the laser beam falls within a detection area of the beam detector. The beam detector determines a scan start time by detecting the laser beam.
