摘要： The invention provides an OLED device with improved light out-coupling comprising an electroluminescent layer stack (2) on top of a substrate (1), where the electroluminescent layer stack (2) comprises an organic light-emitting layer stack (6) with one or more organic layers sandwiched between a first electrode (3) facing towards the substrate (1) and a second electrode (7) to apply a driving voltage to the organic light-emitting layer stack (6), and a first electron transport layer stack (4a) arranged between the organic light emitting layers stack (6) and the second electrode (7), wherein the electron transport layer stack (4a) comprises an electron transport layer (41) made of a first electron transport material having a low refractive index and at least one n-doped layer (40, 42). The invention further relates to a method to manufacture these OLED devices.

摘要： The invention relates to OLEDs (1) having a substrate (2), a first electrode layer (3), a layer of organic electroluminescence material (4), a second electrode layer (5), a cover layer (6), moisture-absorbing means (9) and a separating foil (10) of resilient material. According to the invention, said foil (10) is positioned between the second electrode layer (5) and the moisture-absorbing means (9). This feature results in a longer mean life-time of the OLED. Advantageously spacer structures (12) (preferably formed as dots) are applied on the separating foil (10) between the foil (10) and the cover (6). This prevents discoloring effects around the rim of the OLED material.

The first metal layer act as a bottom electrode, and an organic layer stack is formed on top of the bottom-electrode for emitting light through the top electrode, which is formed on top of the organic layer stack. A partly transparent protection element covers at least the top electrode and the organic layer stack.
