摘要： Triblock copolymers useful for forming ion conductive membranes are provided. The triblock copolymers are characterized by having either a hydrophobic-hydrophilic-hydrophobic or a hydrophilic-hydrophobic-hydrophilic polymer sequence that induces a microphase separated morphology. Variations in which the hydrophilic polymer sequence component includes either acid groups or salts of acid groups are also disclosed. Methods for forming an ion conductive membrane from the triblock copolymers are provided.

摘要： The present invention provides processes for preparing polyesters. The processes include (a) providing a polymerization medium comprising carbon dioxide, (b) contacting a monomer capable of forming a polyester polymer with the polymerization medium, and (c) polymerizing the monomer in the polymerization medium. The processes of the present invention include preparing polyesters by direct esterification polymerization, transesterification polymerization, melt acidolysis polymerization and acid halide polymerization. As a further aspect, the present invention provides a method of separating the polyester produced from the polymerization medium. Polyester polymers prepared according to the methods of the present invention are also provided.

The modulator includes a second printed inductor coupled to the first printed inductor and printed on the same side of the printed circuit board as the oscillator. A conductive surface at a reference potential is arranged the other side of the printed circuit board and in the vicinity of the oscillator and the modulator and electrically coupled to the oscillator and the modulator using conductive through holes.

摘要： The invention presents a method for the fabrication or production of three-dimensional lenses with a variable refractive index by wrapping a material with a given refractive index. It is preferred, that this material has the shape of a thread, which might be cylindrical. The preferred shape of the lens to be produced is spherical or semi-spherical, which can be achieved by an appropiate wrapping process or by cutting the spherical shape. By the inventive method it is possible to produce the said lenses with a smooth varying of the refractive index. It is preferred to use the produced lenses as part of a microwave antenna system.
