摘要： There is provided a device for adjusting a seat position of a bicycle seat. The device allows a rider of a bicycle to adjust the tilt of their bicycle seat while the bicycle is in motion, without the rider having to first dismount. In some embodiments, the rider may also adjust the height of their bicycle seat at substantially the same time as the seat's tilt is adjusted, again without the rider having to first dismount. There are described a motorized embodiment in which a motor is used to drive a tilt actuator and a height actuator, and a mechanized embodiment in which a source of pressurized air is used to drive the height actuator which in turn drives the tilt actuator.

摘要： A rights-based system is described in which vouchers are employed for creating, managing, distributing, and redeeming rights in digital contexts. A voucher is a digital, possession-based rights representation. An authorization component of the system validates the vouchers and issues corresponding tokens. Access to digital resources is provided in response to presentation of the tokens which are validated by matching voucher refresh values to corresponding values maintained by the system. New refresh values are generated and inserted in the vouchers each time they are redeemed.

摘要： A multi-functional, composite fuel display for displaying both fuel level information and fuel economy information is provided. The fuel level is displayed using a plurality of bar segments, each corresponding to a single unit of fuel. Once a single unit of fuel is consumed, the corresponding bar segment changes size to indicate an average fuel economy for that unit of fuel. The bar segment corresponding to the current unit of fuel being consumed changes size in real time to indicate instantaneous fuel economy. An indicator is provided over the bar segments corresponding to single unit of consumed fuel to indicate average fuel economy for the current tank of fuel.

摘要： An injectable drug delivery device includes a core containing one or more drugs and one or more polymers. The core may be surrounded by one or more polymer outer layers (referred to herein as “coatings,” “skins,” or “outer layers”). In certain embodiments, the device is formed by extruding or otherwise preforming a polymeric skin for a drug core. The drug core may be co-extruded with the skin, or inserted into the skin after the skin has been extruded, and possibly cured. In other embodiments, the drug core may be coated with one or more polymer coatings. These techniques may be usefully applied to fabricate devices having a wide array of drug formulations and skins that can be selected to control the release rate profile and various other properties of the drugs in the drug core in a form suitable for injection using standard or non-standard gauge needles. The device may be formed by combining at least one polymer, at least one drug, and at least one liquid solvent to form a liquid suspension or solution wherein, upon injection, such suspension or solution under goes a phase change and forms a gel. The configuration may provide for controlled release of the drug(s) for an extended period.
