    • The present invention provides a charging mode control circuit and method. By utilizing such charging mode control circuit and method, a secondary battery fixed in a portable device can be quickly charged when the portable device communicate with an external computer. The method includes the steps of: a) providing a commutator, the commutator comprising an adapter, a first interface, and a second interface, wherein the first interface is connected to the external computer and the second interface is connected to the portable device; b) filtering a charging voltage from the adapter and obtaining a ripple voltage from the charging power supply; c) rectifying the ripple voltage; d) comparing the rectified ripple voltage with a reference voltage, thereby producing a voltage waveform according to a comparison result; and e) selecting a fast charging mode on the secondary battery according to the voltage waveform.

When the mobile phone is in the microphone mode, a microphone receives external analog signals to a converting unit, which converts the analog signals into digital signals; a processing unit processes the digital signals to the converting unit, the converting unit converts the digital signals into wireless signals, and a second RF module transmits the wireless signals from the converting unit to a multimedia system. The mobile phone to be used as a wireless microphone implements the function of tradition microphones in the multimedia system.

    • A portable electronic device with a song selection function is disclosed. The device includes a storage unit, a processing unit, a display unit, an input unit and a wireless communication unit. The processing unit further includes a list displaying module and a song selecting module. A user can make use of the device to browse or select songs rapidly to play at a multimedia system in an efficient method, without the need for the user to remember the song titles or artist(s) name of the song in advance of making a selection. Consequently, the device avoids searching for songs from a complex multimedia system and is convenient for the user to select desired songs. The present invention also provides a method for achieving a song selection function.

The MCU terminates the output of the ultra brightness control signal when an actual time of outputting the ultra brightness control signals reaches a predetermined time, and then the LED illuminator array resumes its normally bright. The CCFL circuit includes multiple CCFL loads. The transformer includes a primary winding and a secondary winding, with the primary winding coupled to a voltage source and the secondary winding coupled to the CCFL loads. The controlling circuit includes a part for generating a predetermined voltage signal to power the CCFL loads during a warm-up stage and another part for generating a modulation signal. With such circuit arrangement, each of the multiple CCFL loads is powered from an off state to an operationally-on state.
