    • A bitline selection network is composed of a plurality of bitlines and a plurality of global bitlines. The bitlines are grouped into bytes with eight bitlines per byte. The bitlines provide access to memory cells for read and write operations. A bitline is connected to a global bitline through a bitline select transistor. Each of the bitline select transistors is activated one at a time by a bitline select controller. Activation of each bitline select transistor provides a connection to a source line, which in turn connects to a sense amplifier and a write data loading logic block. The sense amplifier and the write data loading logic block are used in read and write operations respectively.

    • In the present invention, viruses, plasmids or both are constructed which contain viral DNA and lox sites positioned such that site-specific recombination between lox sites in separate plasmids results in generation of infectious viral DNA at high-efficiency in cotransfected host cells that have been engineered to express the Cre recombinase. Because of the high-efficiency and specificity of the Cre enzyme, suitably engineered plasmids can be readily recombined to produce infectious virus at high-efficiency in cotransfected 293 cells, without, at the same time, producing wild-type adenovirus, with the attendant problems for removal thereof. Use of recombinases besides Cre and recombinase recognition sites besides lox sites, and use of cells other than 293 cells are also disclosed and enabled, as are kits incorporating the site-specific vector system.

    • An improved roman blind includes a shade and a plurality of horizontal support bars mounted along the shade. Each of the support bars has a guide dimensioned to receive a lifting ribbon. The blind includes a lift mechanism to raise and lower the lifting ribbon. An adjustable mounting element mounted to the second end of the lifting ribbon is also provided; the adjustable mounting element including first and second elongated members having opposite first and second ends. The opposite ends of the elongated members are configured to couple the elongated members together and clamp an end of the ribbon between the elongated members, a portion of the ribbon adjacent the second end being wrapped around the coupled elongated members. The adjustable mounting element further includes an elongated lock member which prevents the ribbon from unwrapping off the elongated members, the elongated lock member being mounted to a lowermost support bar.

    • There is disclosed an improved support bracket for mounting a clutch of a roller blind. The clutch of roller blind used with this improved bracket is the type having at least one projecting pin. The support bracket includes a bracket housing having a flat wall with at least one aperture configured to receive the projecting pin such that the pin passes through the aperture and extends past the flat wall. The aperture is configured to permit the pin to slide up and down inside the aperture between a first and second position when the pin is positioned in the aperture. The bracket also includes a spring lock member mounted to the flat wall adjacent the aperture, the spring lock positioned to partially obstruct the aperture. The spring lock member is configured such that when the pin is inserted into the aperture the spring lock is deflected out of the way to permit the pin to be inserted into the aperture. The spring lock is further configured to rebound back when the pin is moved towards its second position, the rebounded spring lock member preventing the pin from moving back towards its first position.

    • A clutch for a roller blind. The clutch comprises a drive shaft operatively connected to a drive mechanism, an idle shaft releasably coupled to the drive shaft, and a drive spring. The drive mechanism imparts rotational movement to the drive shaft. The idle shaft is operatively connected to the tube of the roller blind such that rotation of the idle shaft causes rotation of the roller blind tube. The drive spring is operatively associated with the idle shaft and with the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft in a first direction causes the drive spring to impart rotational movement to the idle shaft, thereby causing rotation of the roller blind tube. When the drive shaft is rotated in a second opposite direction the drive spring permits the drive shaft to rotate independently of the idle shaft.
