    • An analog switch device has p- and n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors, each having a source electrode, a drain electrode, a gate electrode and a substrate electrode. The p- and n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors are connected parallel to each other. First and second analog signals are received and produced at a pair of nodes between the p- and n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors. Control signals which are inverted with each other are respectively supplied to the gate electrodes of the p- and n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors. A voltage buffer circuit is provided for applying a predetermined voltage to the substrate electrode of one of the p- and n-channel metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors so as to decrease a change in a threshold voltage due to the source-substrate bias effect.

    • An electric blower includes a motor having a stator on which field windings are wound, a rotor facing the stator, and a bracket covering the stator and the rotor. The electric blower further includes a fan mounted to a shaft coupled to the rotor, and an air guide having a diffuser provided to the outer circumference of the fan and formed of a plurality of stationary blades adjacent to each other. The electric blower still includes a fan case having openings at its outer circumference for discharging a part of the air having passed the diffuser to the outside, and protrusions having a brim for covering a part of the openings. The foregoing structure allows the air blower to cool the motor with airflow generated by the fan.

    • A battery that can secure the sufficient capacity, reduces deviation of the pressure distribution inside a spirally wound electrode body, and shows the superior charge and discharge characteristics is provided. The battery includes: a spirally wound electrode body in which a cathode having a cathode active material layer on a strip-shaped cathode current collector and an anode having an anode active material layer on a strip-shaped anode current collector are layered with a separator in between, and spirally wound in a planular state; and a lead jointed to the cathode current collector or the anode current collector in a center portion of the spirally wound electrode body. An inner circumferential end of the cathode active material layer is provided in a region where the inner circumferential end does not overlap with the lead in a short axis direction of the spirally wound electrode body.

The detector includes charge detecting elements for storing charges generated by receiving radiation; gate control signal lines through which a gate control signal flows to control the switching element of each charge detecting element; charge signal lines to which charge signals stored in the storage sections flow out; and delay circuits provided for the switching elements of respective charge detecting elements to delay the rise time of the gate control signal. Charge signals flowed out to the charge signal lines after the rise time are detected to differentiate the detection timings of the charge signals, and noise signals generated a when outputting of the gate control signal is initiated.
