    • A turning direction indicator device includes an actuator that rotates by an operation of the operating lever, a cam body that shifts in a rearward direction approaching a cancel cam. The cam body is rotatable about a rotation axis, and shifts in the rearward direction when the actuator rotates. The cam body includes a rear wall surface opposite to the cancel cam. The rear wall surface has two end parts symmetrical to each other with respect to the longitudinal axis. A spring elastically contacts the end parts to urge the cam body in the rearward direction. The spring also urges the cam body in a rotating direction about the rotation axis when the longitudinal axis of the cam body rotates. The turning direction indicator device suppresses a hitting noise produced by the cam body and a release element with such a simple structure, and operates reliably.

    • The electric rotating machine is provided with an intermediate plate having a power circuit connection portion that is connected with an outgoing lead drawn out from a power circuit unit and an armature winding connection portion that is connected with the power circuit connection portion and an outgoing lead drawn out from an armature winding. The power circuit connection portion and the armature winding connection portion are arranged at desired positions and outgoing leads from the armature winding of the stator are drawn out in such a way as to fall within a given space, so that intermediate connection lines for connecting windings can be shortened. Accordingly, not only the breakage of an intermediate connection line caused by a vibration can be prevented, but also the switching elements can separately be arranged so as to reduce thermal interference between the switching elements; therefore, the switching elements can effectively be cooled.

    • An alternating-current dynamoelectric machine according to the present invention includes: a stator including: a stator core in which slots that extend in an axial direction are formed on an inner side; and a stator winding that is mounted to the stator core by winding conducting wires into the slots; and a rotatable rotor including: a field winding that is disposed inside the stator; a rotor core constituted by a first pole core and a second pole core that each have claw-shaped magnetic poles that are disposed so as to cover the field winding and that alternately intermesh with each other; and first and second permanent magnets that are respectively disposed on two facing side surfaces of adjacent claw-shaped magnetic poles and that have magnetic fields that are oriented so as to reduce leakage of magnetic flux between the claw-shaped magnetic poles, and a magnetic body is disposed between a pair of the first and second permanent magnets.

    • A magnet-mounting member for holding permanent magnets against side faces of each claw-shaped magnetic pole has pairs of extreme-end and basal-end hooking tabs for preventing displacement of the permanent magnets in either a basal-end or extreme-end direction. The magnet-mounting member is configured such that a function of the basal-end hooking tabs to prevent displacement of the permanent magnets can be disabled by deforming the basal-end hooking tabs. When the magnet-mounting member is forced onto the claw-shaped magnetic pole, the basal-end hooking tabs go into contact with the permanent magnets and deform outward, whereby the magnet-retaining function of the basal-end hooking tabs is disabled. When the magnet-mounting member has been fully pushed onto the claw-shaped magnetic pole, the basal-end hooking tabs resume an original shape to prevent the permanent magnets from being displaced in either direction.
