摘要： A fluid droplet ejection apparatus includes a printhead having a fluid supply and a fluid return. A substrate is attached to the printhead, and the substrate includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet on a surface of the substrate proximate to the fluid supply and fluid return. Nozzles are in fluid communication with the fluid inlet. The fluid inlet of the substrate is in fluid communication with the fluid supply, and the fluid outlet is in fluid communication with the fluid return. A first circulation path through the substrate is between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The fluid supply is in fluid communication with the fluid return through a second circulation path that is through the printhead and not through the substrate.

摘要： A system includes a mounting assembly to mount a printhead to a frame having a length in a first direction and a width in a second direction. The mounting assembly includes a fixed component affixed to the frame and a movable component that can move relative to the fixed component. A first pair of flexures connects a first end of the fixed component to a first end of the movable component, and a first adjustment mechanism is positioned at the first end. A second pair of flexures connects a second end of the fixed component to a second end of the movable component, and a second adjustment mechanism is positioned at the second end. A connector couples the mounting assembly to the printhead such that movement of the movable component imparts movement to the printhead. The first adjustment mechanism and the second adjustment mechanism can be operated individually or together.

摘要： An ink recirculation assembly includes a main ink inlet configured to receive ink from an ink source, a main ink outlet configured to direct ink toward an ink source, and a channel extending from the main ink inlet to the main ink outlet. The channel includes an inlet portion and an outlet portion. A pressure differential is formed across the inlet and outlet portions, for example, by a constrictor separating said portions. The inlet portion is configured to move ink from the main ink inlet to openings formed in the inlet portion, said openings configured to direct ink toward ink inlet channels for each of multiple printhead modules. An outlet portion is configured to move ink away from openings formed in the outlet portion toward the main ink outlet, said openings configured to receive ink from ink outlet channels for each of the multiple printhead modules.
