摘要： A neural probe includes a probe, wherein a tip of the probe is tapered; an insulating layer covering the probe, and one or more metallic traces, wherein the metallic traces are provide along the length of the probe. The probe also includes one or more contacts provided on the tip of the probe, wherein each of the one or more metallic traces terminates at the one or more contacts, and the one or more contacts provide an array of nanosized metallic pillars. The neural probe may also incorporate a lightguide. The lightguide may include an insulating layer providing a first cladding layer on the probe, a core layer provided on top of the first cladding layer, wherein the metallic traces and contacts are provided in the core layer with a core material, and a second cladding layer provided on top of the core layer.

摘要： The present invention relates to the use of Raman spectroscopy for quantitative, non-invasive transcutaneous measurement of blood analytes, such as glucose. Raman spectroscopy is used to measure glucose transcutaneously, in patients whose blood glucose levels were monitored. Raman spectra were collected transcutaneously along with glucose reference values provided by standard capillary blood analysis. A partial least squares calibration was created from the data from each subject and validated using leave-one-out cross validation.

摘要： The invention is a biochemical sensing device, including a photodiode capable of sensing the light generated by the reaction made by a specific compound, a specific enzyme, and a luminol as well as converting the optical signal into a current signal. Also, there is a current/voltage converting circuit capable of converting the current signal into an analog voltage signal. In turn, the analog voltage signal can be converted into a digital voltage signal through an analog/digital converter. Finally, by using an electronic device, the digital voltage signal can be received and analyzed, and through the analysis, the amount of the specific compound can be measured. The device of the invention can provide a simple real-time medical assay that can be performed in massive amount. For this reason, the drawbacks of a conventional spectrum analysis instrument of being bulky and expensive can be improved.
