    • An image forming apparatus includes a main casing and a cartridge detachably mountable therein. The cartridge includes a photosensitive drum and a developing roller disposed to oppose each other. The main casing includes: a metal frame for supporting the cartridge; a lock member supported to the metal frame and movable about a first axis to allow or restrict movement of the photosensitive drum relative to the metal frame; and a contact-separation member supported to the metal frame and movable about a second axis to allow contact and separation of the developing roller relative to the photosensitive drum. The lock member and the contact-separation member are aligned in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to an axis of the photosensitive drum such that the first axis is not overlapped with the contact-separation member or the second axis is not overlapped with the lock member in an axial direction of the photosensitive drum.

    • An image forming apparatus includes a casing, a plurality of photosensitive drums, and a plurality of developing device. The casing includes a first frame and a second frame. The plurality of photosensitive drums is configured to rotate about an axis line extending in an axial direction and juxtaposed at intervals in the casing. The casing defines one side and the other side in the axial direction. Drive force for rotating the plurality of photosensitive drums is inputted to the one side of the plurality of photosensitive drums. The plurality of developing device is provided to correspond to the plurality of photosensitive drums and configured to supply developing agent to the corresponding photosensitive drum.     • An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus body, and a process cartridge removably mounted to the apparatus body. The process cartridge includes a photosensitive cartridge including a photosensitive member, and a developing cartridge including a developer carrying member, which is contactable with the photosensitive member, and which carries developer. The image forming apparatus further includes a first pressing member that presses the photosensitive cartridge in a first direction with respect to a positioning portion that is provided on the apparatus body, and a separating member that includes a second pressing member that acts in a second direction and thereby causes the developer carrying member to separate from the photosensitive member. The first direction and the second direction are substantially the same.

    • An ink-jet recording apparatus has rollers, a conveyor belt, a conveyor belt driving mechanism, an ink-jet head, an absorber, a scraper, a supplier, and a supply controller. The conveyor belt spans the rollers. The driving mechanism rotates the rollers to move a record medium disposed on one surface of the conveyor belt in a predetermined conveyance direction. The absorber absorbs cleaning fluid and contacts and applies the cleaning fluid to the one surface of the conveyor belt. The scraper comes into contact with the one surface of the conveyor belt and scrapes the cleaning fluid attached to the one surface. The supplier supplies cleaning fluid to the absorber. The supply controller controls a supply of cleaning fluid from the supplier to the absorber, so that the supply controller makes the supplier supply cleaning fluid to the absorber in response to a print command, for a first period of time before the driving mechanism rotates the rollers to make the conveyor belt start traveling.
