摘要： An electromagnetic motor employing plural rotors is provided, with each rotor exhibiting a permanent magnetic field. A control module selectively induces magnetic fields in electromagnetic pads surrounding each of the rotors. Through the interaction of the permanent and induced magnetic fields, the rotors can turn. As a result, a shaft mechanically engaging the rotors also turns to provide mechanical power. In response to the shaft rotation, an alternator generates sufficient electrical power to sustain the operation of the control module without an external power source. The magnetic polarities of the induced magnetic fields can be reversed, thus causing the rotors to continue turning. In various applications, the motor can be installed in a vehicle or in a building power supply as desired.

Embodiments include a system having a surgical instrument with a sensor for generating a signal indicative of a property of a subject tissue of the patient, which signal is converted into a current dataset and stored. A processor compares the current dataset with other previously stored datasets, and uses the comparison to assess a physical condition of the subject tissue and/or to guide a procedure being performed on the tissue.

摘要： A shift range control device switches a shift range by controlling driving of a motor in a shift range switching system, in which a play exists between a motor shaft which is a rotation shaft of a motor and an output shaft to which the rotation of the motor is transmitted. A parameter calculation unit calculates a motor angle, a motor speed and a motor acceleration based on a motor rotation angle signal acquired from a motor rotation angle sensor which detects a rotation position of the motor. An idling check unit checks an end of idle rotation, in which the motor rotates within a range of the play, based on the motor speed and the motor acceleration. A target setting unit sets a motor angle target value related to drive control on the motor, by using an angle correction value which is a value corresponding to the motor angle at the end of the idle rotation. A drive control unit controls the driving of the motor such that the motor angle becomes the motor angle target value.
