摘要： A radial gap type rotating electrical machine using amorphous metal that can realize high efficiency and is excellent in productivity is provided. The radial gap type rotating electrical machine according to the present invention includes a rotor including a rotary shaft and a rotor iron core that rotates around the rotary shaft, and a stator including a stator iron core that is disposed to face the rotor iron core. The stator iron core has an annular shape and has a back yoke (4) having a plurality of recesses provided along inner periphery, and a tooth (3) having one end fitted to the recess and the other end protruding toward the rotor iron core, the tooth (3) has a laminate in which amorphous metal foil strips are laminated in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, and an insulating member (2) that holds the laminate, and a magnetic material (1) is provided in an end portion on a side facing the rotor of the insulating member (2).

摘要： A method of fabricating a coil for mounting on a tooth of a stator or a rotor of an electric machine includes winding a wire about a mandrel to form a coil having a first shape corresponding to the shape of the mandrel. The method may also include removing the coil having the first shape from the mandrel, and applying a mechanical force on the coil to change the shape of the coil from the first shape to a second shape. The second shape may correspond to the shape of the tooth. The method may also include mounting the coil of the second shape on the tooth.

摘要： A rotor for an electric machine having a central rotor axis is disclosed herein. The rotor includes a rotor carrier and at least one permanent-magnetic, superconducting magnet device mechanically supported by the rotor carrier and having one or more superconducting magnet elements. The respective superconducting magnet element is embedded in an appropriate, assigned radially outer recess of the rotor carrier. The respective superconducting magnet element is formed by at least one strip conductor stack made up of multiple superconducting strip conductors. The respective strip conductor stack is secured in the associated recess by a radially further outer pole cap such that the pole cap holds together the individual strip conductors in the strip conductor stack. An electric machine including a rotor of this type and a method for producing a rotor of this type is also disclosed.

摘要： Stators for radial-flux rotary electric machines and methods of assembling stators for radial flux rotary electric machines are provided. One such stator comprises: a yoke with a plurality of teeth, each tooth extending from a root at the yoke to a tip, the width of each tooth at the root being greater than or equal to the width at the tip thereof to define open slots therebetween; a plurality of coils, each one of which is located on a respective one of the plurality of teeth, wherein the coils are sized such that the slot fill factor of between zero and unity to define axial voids in the slots; and a plurality of magnetic sealing members, each one of which is engaged with the tips of adjacent teeth to circumferentially and axially seal the axial voids in the slots for retaining an axial flow of coolant therein.

The stator lamination is formed of a dual magnetic phase material, such that the magnetic property of the lamination can have a first state and a magnetic property in a second state, wherein the second state is different than the first state. The slot closures regions are treated so as to transition to the second state. A method of manufacturing an electric machine component is also disclosed.
