摘要： A spray gun for spraying of liquids utilizing compressed air includes a molded casing which contains within a sealed pressurized portion thereof, an electric motor and an air compressor driven by it. A manual trigger sequentially controls an electric switch for the motor and a needle valve for the discharge nozzle such that the motor and compressor are started before liquid is admitted to the nozzle, and are operated after liquid flow to the nozzle has been terminated. A diaphragm-type inlet check valve communicates with a pressure chamber of variable size forming a part of the air compressor, a second diaphragm providing both the movable wall of the pressure chamber as well as the movable element of an outlet check valve built therein which conducts pressurized air into the pressurized portion of the casing, passing across the motor enroute to the nozzle.

The atomizer has a flange annexed to a cylinder which is adapted to cooperate with the piston in performing the pumping action, a connecting member secured to a neck opening portion of the container and adapted to hold the flange and a holding member opposing to the connecting member and adapted to hold the flange, so that the atomizing mechanism including the piston and the cylinder are stably held on the container. The holding member is so shaped as to surround the connecting member, thereby to prevent any external force from acting on the flange.

摘要： A sprayer is adapted to suction a liquid under back pressure and squirt the liquid in the atomized form from the nozzle by applying a pressure to the liquid. The sprayer comprises a sprayer body having a suction pipe and a cylinder communicating with the suction pipe, and a cylindrical projection extending from the closed end toward the open end of the cylinder and communicating with the suction pipe. A piston is slidably mounted to the sprayer body in a manner to surround the cylindrical projection. The piston defines such a liquid chamber that when the piston is moved into closest proximity to the closed end of the cylinder the volume of the liquid chamber is made minimal. As a result, when the piston is so moved, a liquid within the chamber is squirted efficiently at high pressure.
