摘要： A door handle device for a vehicle includes a first handle member made of resin and formed with a housing portion which houses an electronic component and is arranged opposing to the outer panel and a second handle member covering the housing portion and assembled to the first handle member. A first connector, which protrudes in a vehicle width direction penetrating through the outer panel, is provided at an end of the first handle member. A board mounted with a control circuit connected to the electronic component is housed in the housing portion in a state where the board is connected to a terminal of the first connector and a terminal of the electronic component.

摘要： A latch apparatus for providing secure storage to an enclosure is disclosed. The latch apparatus can include an actuating device that operates to lock or unlock the latch apparatus in response to a control signal. The control signal can be communicated to the latch apparatus through an RF or other transmitted signal or through hardwires connecting the latch apparatus to the remote device. The latch apparatus can be maintained in either a locked state or an unlocked state without having to continuously supply power to the latch apparatus. The latch apparatus can include a latch hook that can be detent biased to both the open position and the closed position while the latch apparatus is in either a locked state or an unlocked state. The latch hook can move from the open position to the closed position while the latch apparatus is in a locked state. The latch apparatus can also have a thickness such that the latch apparatus will fit in the gap in which drawer slide hardware for an enclosure is installed.

摘要： An anti-theft shield that protects the latching apparatus on the large rear doors of cargo trucks and truck trailers is provided, the shield including an elongated sheath-like member for sliding over and enclosing the cargo door latch handle, and a connected panel member for extending over and protecting the cargo door latch mechanism and the associated padlock for locking the latch handle to the latch mechanism. At a first end of the sheath-like member on the rear side thereof is a planar guide member for insertion behind the latch handle and pivot pin locking hook. The shield is secured in position over the latch mechanism by means of the guide member in combination with a shield locking bracket having an opening for accepting the padlock bight during the locking procedure.

The barrier lock includes a body and a locking pin slidably mounted on the body for movement along a path between an extended position for engaging a catch and a retracted position for disengaging the catch. The lock also includes a pneumatic cylinder in connection with a pressure source and actuating the locking pin between the extended position and the retracted position. An opposite end of the cylinder is adapted for connection to a relatively low second pressure source. A second pressure source connectable to end of the pneumatic cylinder biases the piston away therefrom and generates a first biasing apparatus, in form of a pneumatic spring, which biases the locking pin toward the retracted position. A blocking member is hingedly connected, about a pivot axis, to the body and is selectively movable between a first position and a second position.

摘要： The present invention provides for a handle set for a lock with a latch, the handle set having an authentication circuit and actuator in the interior handle that allow access to authenticated transponders. The present invention also provides a device and method for transmitting a rotational movement and force in an electronic lock, wherein the transmission takes place in a coupled state and not in a decoupled state and wherein the transmission of force does not damage an actuator that requires little energy to change between the coupled and decoupled states. A coupling cartridge of an electronic lock can easily be handed. The electronic lock can be retrofitted in installed mortise locks and used with cylindrical locks. The electronic lock can include a security feature that prohibits the electronic lock from changing between the coupled and decoupled states.

The identification/surveillance device is secured to an article to be identified/surveilled by inserting the pin through the article and engaging the pin with the tag portion. The dull end of the pin is releasably engaged with either the button or the tag portion such that when the identification/surveillance device is removed from the article the sharp end of the pin remains engaged with either the tag portion or the button and only the dull end of the pin is exposed.
